my least favorite part about starting a new sims save is how long it takes me to setup their home/neighborhood/townies/neighbors

i am too much of a perfectionist to let go and just play, the world i drop my babies into needs to feel alive before i feel ready but that just leaves room for me to grow bored of building/setup and i abandon the thing before I can even get going...is it me or were things a bit easier in TS3 and TS2?

A week into the new year, Evelyn met with her brothers at The Greenhouse for coffee, in lieu of their monthly lunches. It’s one of her favourite traditions that they’ve integrated because it meant that she could see Elliot more often, who lives in Cambridge, and they got to keep each other up to date. However, this time the comfort of their gathering eluded her. While her brothers talked, Evelyn spent most of the time lost in thoughts, weighing if she should or shouldn’t disrupt the peace by bringing up Christmas. Edward and Elliot’s long-standing disagreements with their father were left unresolved until it blew up into a big argument. Angry and unwilling to admit that he was wrong, their father cancelled Christmas dinner altogether. Evelyn disliked being the one bearing the emotional burden of the family, but someone had to do it. Especially with how sad and heartbroken their mother had been on the phone with her. In the end, she resolved to talking some sense into her brothers. Although it had stirred the pot and neither of them were happy about it, she could tell that they were upset at having hurt their mother, even if none of them knew how to say it.

He’s absolutely fixated on that tiny snowman ornament on the Christmas tree. You can practically see the β€œI need that” in his eyes.πŸ˜†πŸŽ„
