I think the prevalence of bad writing advice in the world helped me grow my critical eye from an early age. the thing you have to understand about advice and criticism is that you shouldn't take them like a soldier takes orders. obedience is not a virtue. soldiers shouldn't do that either, nobody should be a soldier, but that's off topic. you have to evaluate whether they are good. you have to criticize the criticism.

In this post I originally said I don’t think D3r would be able to teleport, but I’ve since changed my mind about that. I think he can teleport but he’s really bad at it. He can only teleport up to like. Maximum 5 metres at a time and it’s very physically draining. It also makes him quite nauseous, so he tends to avoid doing it unless he deems it entirely necessary. It’s almost like a dodge roll more than an actual teleport
Additionally, D3r's blood is a deep purple. Despite being unaffected by the dragon's control, his magic is still purple, so when he teleports, the purple particles still kick up around him, and on rare occasions one or two will generate around him passively. He tends not to notice them (Avery does)

Ive been scary enthralled with Wifies stories and obviously "searching a world that doesn't exist" is popular and good.
I really enjoy d3rdlord3 as a characters and feel sympathetic for him weirdly, I think Wifies just good at storytelling you also the idea of seeing a very smart character feeling helpless and overwhelmed by something beyond even his understanding is amazing.
Maybe I am scared.
