elrond peredhel
for @southaway <3 thank you so much for your support!! i hope you like your bonus elrond 🌿
tried a different lighting in this piece !! and actual hands lmao
speedpaint below the cut | support me on kofi <3
Thank you!!! He looks amazing! I love everything about it, the lighting, the expression, the pose! This is such a good take on Elrond!
Day Six for @arafinwean-week: Celebrían
Once again pulling in things from family members. She has Angrod's ring, Galadriel's circlet, and Melian's shawl (probably from Elrond)
Day Five for @arafinwean-week: Orodreth
I always felt bad for Orodreth and Finduilas ending up stuck between the Doom of the Noldor and Morgoth's curse on Turin
I'm pretty happy with this design, I might have to find an excuse to draw him again sometime
Day Four of @arafinwean-week: Galadriel
Galadriel presenting the Elven cloaks to the Fellowship
She is wearing Finrod's earrings, Angrod's ring, and Aegnor's hair ornament. I kind of ending up like the idea as I drew this that she would keep and wear mementos of her brothers
Day Three of @arafinwean-week: Angrod and Aegnor
Angrod is on the right primarily in the blue and Aegnor is on the left primarily in yellow
I've never drawn either of them before, but I'm really happy with how they turned out, I might have to do it again sometime
Day Two of @arafinwean-week: Finrod
Finrod, King of Nargothrond
I was going to name the snake, but I'm pretty terrible with Elvish of any sort. So name him amongst yourselves.
Something stupid that under the cut that just struck me while I was making it
Day One for @arafinwean-week: Finarfin
I went with the concept of him being younger here. Finarfin the prince instead of Finarfin the king.
Well, everyone else seems do be doing this, so why not. Here's some of my favorite pieces from 2025. The year started out a bit rough for me, but it ended really good. I finally made an attempt to talk to people and gained some really cool mutuals.
So, thank you. To everyone who engaged with my art, and everyone I got to know! I'm really looking forward to this year
Melian for @southaway ‘s DTIYS!
I had a lot of fun with this, I love your Melian she’s so beautiful 💙
That's insane. This is so beautiful!! I just keep scrolling back up while typing this to admire it! I'm absolutely in love with her face. You did an amazing job with her.
And I'm so glad you chose Melian! She wasn't getting as much love as the others
*Caveat* I am working on finishing up my art for Arafinwean Week as well as a commission. Those will be first priority for me.
Also, be ready to be patient with me. I'll be working on these around other things. I can't promise any specific turn around time, but I can promise if you get a request before I close them, it will get done.
But, they're always fun to do and a great way to experience new characters (or revisit well loved old ones)
Opening up to Tolkien only requests for this round
Well that was a journey to draw 😂 @southaway you really have such a clean and detailed artstyle, very different from my "I just use one layer and distract ppl with colors-style"
But it was alot of fun!!
Speedpaint under the cut ✂️
Look at her! This is so beautiful! It's been really cool to watch you experiment with digital art. I love how you did the metal for her prosthetics and I agree coloring on the skin looks really good! It's just so pretty!
(my approach is definitely the opposite, I use a frankly insane and at times hard to keep track of amount of layers)
Fingolfin!! for @southaway 's dtiys!!!! (I love the way you draw clothes, but after doing these "flowers", I understood they are too much for me. Like, how do you even do it???)
Was really encouraged by seeing this entry by silmalope. (They sure can draw clothes)
This is awesome! I love your style, and the mix of warm and cool colors. He has such a soft expression, I really like it!
And full disclosure, I use pattern brushes pretty heavily. That's how I get a good amount of my pattern work in pieces
