I’ve been recovering from long term illness (and forever will stay that way probably) so having an accessible “news” to know what’s going on so I’m never behind is really nice (and I feel like each post you’ve curated is helping me learn more about the styles). Unfortunately I’ll likely never have the spoons to hunt down the actual Japanese texts like I used to in the olden days ™️ but I’ll be enjoying your fashion posts from the sideline and continue using jt as inspos for myself and character design. I think I mentioned your blogs making this accessible for me before but idk I could also be lying

(PS: my older sister is trans so I’ve had a lot of fun styling her using your posts it’s been a great experience for us both)

I woke up & saw the ask & decided i would answer later cuz i had classes. But the first part got stuck in my mind for some reason and i kept repeating "i post too much … i post too much ..." in my head all day long lmao

I keep receiving sweet asks and honestly i havent been this genuinely happy in a long time TT. Knowing that im making someone happy, and not just one person, but more than one, feels really nice. Youre making lil old sou emotional fr😔

they definitely have similarities, like the use of earthy colors and plaid floral or animal motifs. however i usually tag things as natural girly if they use natural fabrics like cotton or linen and have a loose comfy silhouette

its worth noting that mori kei essentially is natural girly. mori differs from standard natural kei specifically because of youthful girly elements, a style that existed as natural girly well before the term mori girl was coined. also calling natural girly "mori girl" isnt really common in japanese spaces anymore

im not the only admin on girlyholic, i actually became one by accident in a funny situation. the blog has been around since 2017, and people have been spam liking here forever. i dont mind spam likes or any other spam interactions (as long as you re not a scam bot ofc) on any of my blogs and even love that
