i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.

around 7 hours into a truly harrowing mushroom trip I started seeing soyjacks behind my eyes every time I closed my eyes and tried to imagine a tranquil field with a tranquil pond but the camera behind my eyes zoomed in on the pond to reveal a fish soyjack. ☹️
