the thing w dr who is they'll (almost) never get into it bcos it's a family show but like there's gotta be a lot of pretty weird sex happening offscreen. like even if you're stone cold anti doctor/companion shipping there's no way at least some of those guys aren't engaged in space alien sex tourism. it would frankly be weirder if no dr who companion had ever fucked an alien.

Probably quicker to list DW companions I do not think would fuck an alien:

Ian: he is a good and polite boy and also was single-mindedly devoted to Barbara from the jump

Jamie: might just be too obsessed w the Doctor to be fucking anyone on his travels; then again maybe not

Victoria: in addition to being a teen she is simply too well behaved

Graham O'Brien: probably too deep in mourning for his dead wife to be fucking anyone else till post canon

K9: robot.

Barbara is a known alienfucker btw. she had that little fling w a Thal in The Daleks. she would absolutely hook up w an alien early on and Ian would be just steaming w jealousy about it but too much of a gentleman to SAY anything but he'd be so upset :)<

i think rory ranks above ian on the scale bcos 1) he WOULD have a threesome with an alien if amy asked and 2) amy WOULD ask.

tho actually i think Rory's self esteem & confidence in their relationship is so low that if Amy trying to ask for a threesome he'd just assume she was asking for his blessing to go have sex with someone else (without him) and be like 'yeah why not. none of it matters i guess.' & she would have to extremely explicitly spell out that she wants him to be present.

This is NOT nuanced. I know many people (including myself) wish this wasn't the situation and that things behind the scenes went smoother. But which choice do you think would make for a better Doctor Who.

-For the writers to go "Yeah, we made a hasty decision, but the cards have been dealt and let's pretend this was meant to happen and embrace Billie as the Doctor." OR

-For the writers to go "Actually, I have this genius work around to make it appear as though this mystery box was the plan all along. We'll hold onto Billie for a few episodes, send her off, and have our actual next Doctor step in."

one thing i am very disappointed in the last series of doctor who for was that, per the media and particularly rtd's interviews, there was an implication that there would be a lot more meaningful disabled and transfem rep in the show, and what we got just...fell kinda flat. particularly when rose's entire role was just to stand in the corner with her arms folded and say nothing. i think we deserved better than that
