The point of all this was for smth I've wanted to do for a while now; making a living dex entirely from bog standard Pokémon cards. No ex's, gym leader's, megas, deltas, promo cards, full arts, or anything like that. From 001 to 1025, all represented by a single card each. It's going to take a while ^^ I'm picking my favourite card from each species that I own, and there's a lot of gaps I'll need to fill. But I'm looking forward to this project c:

  1. Are they talkative?

Spud is incredibly chatty! Not necessarily with words though. They like to make small simple noises like 'a' and 'awawa' and the like, or repeat sounds they hear. Think of having a really chatty cat and that's about the same level. If not making Sounds(tm) they are often narrating in third person about things they do with people. Spud sits in Rin's lap. Spud kiss. Spud go sleep. That sort of thing.

Sometimes though when they're tired they do go very very quiet and just sit and observe the world go by. And when they're stressed out they go very nonverbal.

2. Left handed, right handed, ambidextrous?

Spud has a variable number of hands, being a shapeshifter, and they're kind of clumsy so it might not seem they have any preference. However they are right handed, any hand on the right at all! Co-ordination absolutely depends on how many hands they have though lol.

3. What's their favorite food/least favorite food?

Spud absolutely loves any food that can be mispelled in a funny cute way. Soop (soup), beens (beans), slamwidges (sandwiches), vegetals (vegetables) etc, as well as any kind of snacky 'ingreedience'. They are also a cheese thief and will eat handfuls of grated cheese if unsupervised :3c And finally pickles!! They love a good gherkin~

Least favourite is probably mushrooms; they are 100% texture motivated and large pieces of mushroom are squeaky on the teeth and feel like rubber foam to them. They also don't like corriander; it's not the soap gene, they just think it's too strong.

4. Morning person or night owl?

Spud is absolutely a night owl, though they tend to sleep a lot regardless of when they go to bed. Trying to wake them up early is absolutely an exercise in futility though; they will end up back in bed the second you take eyes off them, if you can remove them at all.

Terry has a lot of these moments; possibly more than most. His memory is almost flawless, likely a result of his strong psychic powers. That, in tandem with a life lived full of grief and anger, means there are many areas he is loathe to remember, but often forced to confront in crystal clarity. His dreams are restless recounts of the worst parts of his life, only recently being soothed by the balm of happier memories.

His greatest shame is a result of his own cruelty, of the refined point of the sharpness with which he made his despair known. One of those he has come to call family, the one he holds most dear to his decrepit heart, began as living property, cruelly moulded into shape by merciless hand and harsh word. Despite the forgiveness they have shown him over and over again, he truly does not believe he deserves their love. Plagued by the memory of each and every time he hurt them, Terry feels he can never truly atone for the violent and total destruction of the person his one in particular used to be.

These days Terry's nightmares are not echoes of the cruelty surrounding him, but an unshakeable fear of the darkness he has within.
