🌨️#splitevoevo challenge entry🌨️ I decided to join @pragmagik 's Split Evo Evo challenged, based on Applin's extra evo's; Dipplin and Hydrapple. The challenge was to create a new Split Evolution for a Pokémon which already had one, and to evolve that again. It was a very cool challenge, and I loved digging through my old Yokai and Yurei 'guide books' from my teen days. Futottuo's origin is very obscure, eventhough to motive of "icy ghost children" is used regularly~!!
🌲Laken Team🌲 I wanna do more fanart this year! So let's start good with my 'would-be' team for @billfrancois 's Laken Region. Grottunnel was an easy pick, I've loved every version of Staquake, Bellily is just adorable and Drakernel, well as an Applin convergent I'm just very biased.
Hope to make more fanart this year between projects and products. Gotta show artists how much I like their projects, right?
🐎Happy 2026~!!🐎 Hope everybody still has all their limbs and that your pets have survived the night without too much panic. It's time for my own little tradition~!! For this year, it's a Horse with Oliebollen!! Horses are tough to draw, I can tell you that!! Wanted to incorporate a 'carousel' in the art, as I hope to be doing more little bits of animation this year. I wish the best to y'all, to reaching new heights this year~!!
🎉Art Summary 2025🎉 Was too lazy to join the ArtVSArtist, as usual, but hey; Years over, on to the next. Self-reflection, yippie~!! It's been a good year, reached some milestones, flunked on others, but I have a clear vision for what's next!! (Though, again, too many options...) On to the stats for 2025~!!: I got about 3,1K likes, I made 40 new button designs (48 last year) and finished the Kanto Redesign project with 35 new designs~!! I had a table at 4 cons and overall I made 54 posts on Instagram~!! At this moment, I have 7 big projects to start/ continue with, so next year will be focused around the "How I became a Dungeon Lord" comic, and another Pokemon Project. Stay tuned, this will be the year, I PROMISE .w.;; Thanks for the support, like every year, and have a great one, as always~!! A happy New Year in advance~!!

🥚"How I became A Dungeon Lord."🥚 Remember me, back in February, saying I'd have a prologue chapter ready for my new comic before the end of 2025? Well, I did not, but I did make this lil animated teaser! The Kanto Redesign project cooked my brains, but I have a good feeling about turning this into reality next year ^^;; Hopefully I can get the (expanded) prologue done next year; there is a script, scene notes and such, but now I have to get started, and most likely rework alot... How I became a Dungeon Lord, 2026 mayhaps?

🦦Chubby Otters - NEW🦦 I had to redo these lil dudes as well~!! The originals were a "healthy" size, so-to-say, but I like them like this a bit better (compare on slide 5). I will like I'll be taking a step back from this series, but I got another design to show in a bit. Might focus on more fandom related bags and apparel (though apparel is a big word -w-;;)

🧬Kanto: Mew Redesign🧬 Welcome to the End of the Kanto Redesign Project; we've reached Mew. After 4 years and about 4 months, it has been completed. Mew is designed with Mewtwo and Ditto in mind. With the over-arching narrative of faulty copies, there had to be a true original. Ditto is the printer malfunction, Mewtwo is the black-and-white xerox (with hints of Sphynx), and Mew is a brightly colored CMYK Calico cat. Happy, cute, and very bright. Its hair spins together into bright "globs of yarn", being both malleable like clay, liquid like ink, but also able to be spun into objects. Like strands of DNA. All possible combinations of DNA data is said to be stored in this yarn, granting it the option to learn all moves. We'll keep the Mythical a bit more mysterious, didn't have much new lore for it anyway~!! It's been a wild ride, and thank you all for joining. New, on to my other projects and some more unplanned art again .w.!! 151/151

👻Mega Froslass used Icy Wind👻 Happy Halloween y'all~!! Did you get a chill? Had a whole lot of ideas for the post today, but I ended with one of the most iconic Mega Evolutions from Legends; Z-A~!! Back the my "Ukiyo-E -esque" style for this piece. I've been a big Froslass fan since Sinnoh, and this new Mega does her justice~!! Happy Hauntings, don't eat too many sweets~!!
🧬Kanto: Mewtwo Redesign🧬 Just one last post for the Week of Legendaries. Mewtwo has breached containment and has entered the line-up!! Mewtwo was designed with both the design for Ditto and the eventual design for Mew in mind. While taking inspiration from hairless cats, most notably the Sphynx, there is also some alien mixed into it. Were Ditto is the printer malfunction, Mewtwo is the black-and-white xerox, having a very muted pallet. It is highly unstable, both in form and temperament, but once caught and provided with kindness, I'd like to think it is more of a silent presence with high amounts of psychic energy. To hammer down the theme of 'Copies', its tail was turned into a chain of paper sheets; thin, yet extremely sharp. I believe Mewtwo's story would be mostly the same, yet maybe more woven into the main story line; something to resolve with more cutscenes, and less like a secret boss, hidden in a cave. The dex didn't stop at 150, ofcourse, but first Halloween~!! 150/151
🌤Kanto Moltres Redesign🌤 And last of the Legendary Birds, and the first redesign concept I ever did; Moltres~!! Moltres is based on a Vulture, as the original concept was for the feathers on its head being 'charred off', with neck plumage made of fire and an ashen body. It fits in the ability of fire to turn things to ashes, as Carrion birds technically do the same. The wings are more wildly designed with round shapes for the fluidity of flames. It closes its wings around enemies to incinerate them. Its movements spark passion in those who see it, resembling ritual dancing. Eventhough often seen as a symbol of finiteness, it brought inspiration and motivation to ancient people. It roosts atop of slumbering volcanoes, often making the people living around it worry, due to its plummage producing smoke. With the trio completed, we only have 2 icons left for this project~!! It will have spanned from June 29th, 2021 to November 5th of 2025; almost exactly 4 years and 4 months~!! Learned alot, but I'll keep the final thoughts for the final post~!!

🌩Kanto Zapdos Redesign🌩 Continuing with our week of Legendaries; on to Zapdos! Zapdos is based on a Hummingbird, with its narrow mask functioning as its pointy beak. This designs uses both pointy and rounded lines to distinct it from the rest. I got the idea from icons of clouds with thunder coming out of it. Its talons function as tasers, though note that its whole body is full of unregulated electricity. It moves fast, being able to this electricity to invigorate both people and pokemon, boosting speed, as well as strength. Due to this, it was venerated by ancient people, though its home in jagged wastes has been long gone. It can be found near spots with high electrical concentration, such as powerplants. Only 3 more, working on the last 2 designs as we speak. Zapdos might be my fave of the three, because I feel like this one is the most unique take I could have for it~!! The next one is actually the oldest redesign I did for the project, even before the starters >wo~!! Stay tuned!

🌨Kanto Articuno Redesign🌨 Legendary time~!! The whole plan was to make the Legendary Birds more cohesive on a visual level. With Articuno, we kick-off a week full of Legends! Articuno is based on a Snow Owl, though it's mask resembles a Barn Owl more. With jagged lines and sharp corners I tried to mimic the shape of ice and snowflakes, but on a minimalistic level. It's legs consist of a single, jagged point, to minimize its contact with the ground; more ethereal, and if it was an actual bird it would help to hold on to warmth better. It's very silent, making little to no sound even while flying. Articuno was searched for in ancient times for its knowledge and introspection, though within its frigid tundra, it could come at a great cost. ⚡Kanto Dragonite Redesign⚡ Psuedo-legendary time~!! Dragonite is another iconic and beloved Pokemon, and now it has a new twist~!! Dragonite is now a big dragon; its logical conclusion. Building on the body plan I started with Dratini and Dragonair, it gained its limbs gradually, creating a more versatile an flexibile form. Now control over lightning while using its control over clouds to fashion armor (for the -nite part, which sounds like knight). The gentle giant is a bit of a super hero, after lazing around it is now ready for adulthood, creating a full circle - growth cycle together with its trainer. It moves at lightning-fast speeds, saving lost travelers at sea, on top of mountains or in bustling cities. It defends others by tazing enemies with the lightning-orbs embedded in its hands. Last evolution line is complete~!! And with that all the regular Redesigns as well. Next week we'll meet the new Legendary Birds, and after that Mewtwo and Mew, finishing this project after 4+ years~!! It's so exciting but so much work for the final stretch .w.;;;; 146/151
🧵Hollow Knight: FLEAS!!🧵 Simple, yet elegant; the Flea quest was one of my fave parts of Silksong~!! I also added some new buttons of beloved NPC's~!! Had to make a bag pattern for it (though warning; mild spoilers for Act 2) I got good at the platforming, I beat the bosses, and now I hope for DLC ;w;!! Silksong was an amazing experience, and this won't be the last fanart I'll be making~!!
