As you might know, my country, Belarus, is going through hell right now. We are trying to peacefully defend our votes and get rid of the dictator who shamelessly lied about the election results. And as we do that, we are faced with beating and torture at the hands of police and complete lawlessness from every government institution in the country.
But the Lukashenko regime brought not only political and democratic crisis, but economical one as well. Many people are losing their jobs, and our currency is facing massive devaluation compared to EUR and USD. As a result, our very low salaries got even lower. Within a few months my salary went from 450 USD a month to 330 and it is decreasing every day, but my rent is fixed in dollars (250 USD + bills), and I fear that by next month, I might not be able to cover it. Or pay for food, bills, commute etc.
I have been making gifs for almost 8 years in here, and tumblr has always been the place I could turn to in times of (emotional or otherwise) turmoil. I feel very conflicted about it, but if you enjoy what I do, or just want to help a struggling Belarusian out, please support me on ko-fi or send any money you can directly to my paypal account.

Even 5 dollars will make a huge difference! I would be very grateful for any help (even a reblog), and can repay you with gifsets if you would like that. Thank you so much!

Quick update: thank you so much for all your help and support!
I‘ve decided that I will give half of what I receive to the following Belarus charities (you can donate to them directly if you want!):
- Support for Belarus. This is a fundraiser to help those affected by the violent repressions in Belarus. That includes paying legal fees for people who have been detained at the protests and medical bills for the many people who have been beaten at the detainee’s centre.
- Belarus Solidarity Foundation This is a fundraiser to help people who have lost their jobs because of the political repressions. They also support the workers who went on a strike.
