least tragic eve's backstory in servamp

Imagine our guys won't be able to stop Pandora and in order for anything in the ritual to go wrong Mahiru will become the one who'll drink the Count's blood.

It won't be self-sacrificial because I believe this could be the moment we learn about Mahiru's speciality/ability, the reason why he has no magic, and that would help him become the Count's vessel s a f e l y

It'd be a good ocassion for the Count to rise, see that the plan hasn't worked well and return everything back (aka return all souls to Tokyo citizens). Also, this way both Mahiru and Kuro would be able to have conversation with him, and, in addition, Mahiru would see flashbacks, as he usually does.

Idk if anyone has already said this (I say this too much in my posts 😭) but I was looking at them for a little too long and realized something (that should’ve been quite obvious but I’m slow and maybe I wanna prove I have more than half a braincell)

Kuro looks the exact same. From his expression to his clothes to his pose. He hasn’t changed (except emotionally) (he did change there)

But Mahiru looks very different! He’s not in his uniform anymore, his shoes went from white & orange to orange & white (an upgrade fr if you ask me), his hair looks way fluffier (like he hasn’t cut it in a while), and maybe this is super irrelevant but his pants are still rolled up but they’re less messy. He overall looks a little more mature if you get what I mean.

That’s not a bad thing, but it especially highlights that Mahiru’s always gonna keep growing and eventually die as every human does. Kuro hasn’t changed since he’s immortal.

This had me sobbing for a healthy 3 minutes so uh yea (don’t listen to folklore when reading Servamp it makes it a lil sadder)

Mahiru -> Elpis

Touma -> Daddy Long Legs

Youtarou -> Moirai (?)

Ildio -> Cocytus

And Iduna has something to do with Joan of Arc i believe!

I’m only recently researching their skills but i cant seem to remember anything related to Kuro’s..

If you can find anything for other pairs too, I’ll gladly take those skill names as well!!

Okok so like while I was rereading a few chapters, I got reminded of you mentioning Kuro’s coat tails being gone!

Nice, nice. Later, (this is still chapter 111), Kuro starts feeling “strong emotions” (Anger, fear, worry, excessive confusion?), which bring out the tails!

So I’m assuming that the tails are simply a detail added by Kuro’s power, since they’re his form of defense?? Im not sure. But that might be why his tails are gone! Because mahiru doesn’t have/need/use that sort of “weapon,” if you get what I mean!
