The letter L. From a clothes hanger, and denoting ‘large’. Found on the Thames shore at Thorpe Bay.

Not sure what this is, though it might be some sort of vaping apparatus with an advert on the side. Found on Battersea village shore.

Corks. Found at Queens Quay near Southwark Bridge.

Oysters. Once plentiful in London on the Thames - so much so that they were good food for the poor – these days the river in the city is too heavily modified, and the tidal flow too strong, to allow for the establishment of oyster beds. These five were among many dozens washed up on the shore at Queens Quay near Southwark Bridge.

Coal, possibly left over from barges, or power stations. Found at Queens Quay near Southwark Bridge.

Spray paint can (colour: gray). Still functioning, as the sprayed stone to the right testifies. Found near Gabriel’s Wharf, Waterloo.
