Trauma can explain a bias, a dishonesty, a bigotry, an irrational position, historical revisionism, aggression, or terrible behavior - but it can't excuse or justify any of those.

what I think about misandry/sexism towards men coming from women and transandrophobia from transfems and other non ftm trans people (because cis people's main reason for transandrophobia is transphobia)

I'm realising so hard that I cannot in fact just leave anything alone and I can't get out of any of this ever. I'm stuck in the suburban sprawl for the rest of my life and I'm never escaping

let's marry and immigrate together my love

YESSS where would we go 🤔 Norway maybe since you can't do heat

Or new Zealand, if you can handle a massive season shift, that's pretty cold a lot of the time if you're on the south island

I'd appreciate any country where it's not illegal to be lgbt+ and where we can transition 😅 unlike my home country -_-

i found a cool tag game on twitter and i really wanna import it (o^ ^o)

this picrew + the last song you listened to :]

yee!

Tagging anyone who wants to do this!

Song for Dan Treacy - MGMT

the song title isn't visible but it's Boulevard Of Broken Dreams by Green Day!

day 3 of talking about Romani history many people don't know:

the origin of the slur "gypsy"

when Roma migrated to Europe and Middle East from North India (it happened around 9-13 centuries, depending on country) many people started creating theories about Roma's origin. in Britain there was a theory that Romani people are from Egypt and they started calling them Egyptians aka Gypsies. this slur isn't only offensive but also just factually incorrect because Roma did not originate from Egypt. I know many people don't even realize that gypsy is a slur and think that's the official name for us, but it's not. Roma and Romani (both mean the same thing) are in our language Romanes. I've also seen some people say Romas or Romanis when trying to make the word plural but actually it's already in plural form! singular form is Rom

for those out there who feel like their dissociation 'isn't enough' and feel like they're faking because of it, hey. maybe it's because you lived your entire life with this experience and got too used to it. but here's the thing, dissociation isn't just 'suddenly blacking out and having no memory of the entire past day' no matter how much its painted as that. not all dissociation is sharp and obvious.

forgetting passwords, forgetting names and people, forgetting your dreams, having too vivid dreams, insomnia, brain fog, face blindness, remembering your days like a blur, struggling to remember your schedule, school/work day gone too fast, forgetting to eat, forgetting to drink, derealization, depersonalization can all be caused by dissociation. i know its hard to accept but it is, just because you don't black out doesn't mean you don't dissociate; if you sit on your computer stopping for a second doubting your password or if you wake up feeling like that was a trainwreck of a dream then suddenly it stops being visible is caused by dissociation. if you're awake, looking around but having the feeling that something with the existence of the surroundings is wrong is also dissociation. if you suddenly remember that you forgot to eat that day, that you forgot to drink that day, the time is 3 am and even though you never blacked out and you were always there, is still dissociation.

if you grew too used to constantly living these little things, then you are probably ignoring your symptoms. so please stop the doubting. you're not fake, your dissociation is real, your amnesia is real and you are not lying. please remember this. you are a system, and it's okay to dissociate. it's not your fault.

I think I'm actually so fucking stupid. and I probably wrote a lot of stupid things. idk how to function when I wish I were dead everyday

It seems we are staring this new year the same we did last. With a Black trans man found dead in New York. And like last time, no one on social media is talking about it, because we don't talk about dead trans men.

Danny Siplin was 33-years-old, he was a community builder, a dedicated son that drove his mother to work every morning, and he loved the snow.

He was found dead near his car on a bridge in Rochester. Police have alleged there was no foul play involved in his death, but details of his death have not been released to the public. The media reporting his death misgendered him on TV and in articles. He was described by his mother as someone who "give the shirt off [his] back,".

Sam Nordquist's body was found almost a year ago, also in New York, also after he had gone missing. Sam Nordquist was de-gendered by the New York Times, which initially had correctly referred to him as a trans man before changing the language to "person". Sam, a 24-year-old Black trans man, had been tortured and raped for three months before he was killed and his buddy dumped and dedicated. The media also failed him, not just by misgendered and de-gendering him but also by using photos of him pre-transition. Something that his Wikipedia page has also done.

He was described by his mother as someone who "give the shirt off his back,".

It has also been almost two years since the murder of TK Hill, a 35-year-old Black publicly transgender man, who was shot and killed in front of his home at the start of 2024. TK had been a community organizer and an LGBT salon owner. TK Hill was also described as someone who would "give the shirt off his back,".

As I mourn the death of Danny Siplin, I am still mourning the death of Sam Nordquist and TK Hill. I mourn the deaths of all trans men whose names go unspoken, whose names go erased, who have been defined as people who give and give and give - even when they had very little and faced such great and terrible adversity.

"but it's an islamic holy site!" Ok, well, I've just declared your house a holy site in my new religion, "all your stuff is really mine-ism", which you have to respect, so get the fuck out and let me in to my house to worship, coloniser. Also, that woman there? Not really your mom, she's my mom and always has been. If you disagree, you're being racist against "all your stuff is really mine-ites"! Oh yeah, and it's offensive to my religion for you to show your face here in my new house, so it's only civilised to try to kill you if you try to come back.

What so many Lefties don't understand is that the Al-Asque Mosque was built on top of the Jewish Temple Mount for the same reason that Mount Rushmore was carved over the Six Grandfathers.

"Oh, this site is sacred to you?" *carves over it* "Not anymore, it's mine now. :) And you can't go near it. And if you try, I'll kill you and say you were trying to steal what was always mine. :) "

And they'll claim umar was super friendly and respectful of Jews and christians. 🙄 Was literally just reading that claim yesterday in some apologetics about the daily islamic prayer making a not so oblique reference to their claim elsewhere in quran that their god* hates Jews. (*I refuse to entertain either muslims' or christians' claim that they follow Hashem and not just human idols.)

And not only Jews aren't allowed to go anywhere near there. I saw a post a day or two ago by an American muslim ally who visited al aqsa while wearing a yellow ribbon and was harassed, detained, and interrogated like a criminal for it.

I've been forgetting so many things recently and forgot about my idea to talk about Romani history daily. but anyway I remembered so it's going to be a longer post today and my apologies in advance if it sounds weird cuz I had to use google translate in some parts as my translation seemed off to me

so day 2 of talking about Romani history many people don't know

In 1710, Joseph I, Holy Roman Emperor (Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation - modern Germany and parts of modern Netherlands, France, Italy and Czech republic) issued an edict against the Roma, stating that "all adult males should be hanged without trial, and women and young males should be beaten and banished forever." Furthermore, in the Kingdom of Bohemia, Romani men were to have their right ear cut off; in the Moravian March, their left ear. In other parts of Austria, they were branded on their backs with a gallows-shaped mark. These mutilations allowed authorities to identify the Roma during their second arrest. The edict encouraged local officials to organize hunts for Roma by levying a fine of 100 Reichsthaler on those who failed to comply. Anyone who aided the Roma was punished with forced labor for six months. The result was the mass extermination of the Roma throughout the Holy Roman Empire. In 1721, Charles VI amended the decree to order the execution of adult Roma women and the removal of children to orphanages “for education.”

Anonymous asked:

there is no culture without nation, ukrainian genocide of russians already proved that cultures will be eradicated without a nation protecting them, you're just a poser hippie and a wannabe yankee

lmao. are you the transrussian nazi self proclaimed military ultranationalism fan? really "dangerous" гражданин Опасный of you to block me and then hide behind anon.

the only genocide that has been happening in this war is the genocide of Ukrainians. but I guess it's hard to tell when you don't actually live in either of them and get your information from your fellow online nazis.

poser of what exactly? of believing in anarchism, of being against goverment, countries, nationality , patriotism? how can you be a poser of beliefs? anyway I'd gladly take being a poser and a SJW rather than fucking nazism.

"wannabe yankee"? I told you I hate all countries and the concept of nationality itself. I wanna these concepts not to exist.

Anonymous asked:

oh so you're not russian then?

I'm ethnically and culturally russian? these things are real, nationality is not the only thing. also, I hate the concept of nationalities , doesn't mean I can't acknowledge its significance to our society.

Anonymous asked:

"from russia" you're not loyal to your country at all are you

nope I find concept of patriotism and nationality stupid. countries and nationalities shouldn't have existed at all. what exactly should I be loyal to? I love my culture, language, etc that's it. I hate all countries and the idea of being loyal to one
