Or so they say...

@the-queen-of-fools / the-queen-of-fools.tumblr.com

Martha; 32; UK; She/Her; Disabled; Bisexual disaster; Intersectional feminist. 18+ only. Multi-fandom blog, mostly Pedro Pascal. I seem to have become the Queen of sub!Dave York content?

So…

Unfortunately, I’m (again) delayed in posting the newest chapter of ‘Coffee & Cowboys’. The last month has been a real rollercoaster, my Dad went into hospital early April, and visiting daily has wiped out my time and energy for writing. He went into hospice late April, and passed away on the 30th…

Once everything is a bit more settled, I’ll get back to the regular schedule, but I just wanted to keep everyone informed…

I’m ready to be transformed by the ibuprofen . I’m ready to be born again in its purifying light.

New to tumblr?

  • Add a profile picture and any words to your "about" section (or old users will think you're a bot and block you)
  • Reblog stuff liberally. (Liking means less here, there is no algorithm. Also an empty blog makes you look like a bot too)
  • It's NORMAL to spam like/reblog or like/comment/reblog on post that are decades old here. Seriously. No one cares. Artists would actually be thrilled
  • You are anonymous. People talk to people they don't know here. It means nothing.

Addendum:

  • Follow blogs. This populates your "following" tab. The "for you" is newer and most old users use and recommend the "following" tab, which shows you the posts by the people you're following, in reverse chronological order.

Correction: Technically the "for you" is algorithm but its bad

image description: a photo of a small brown bat (unknown species) being held in a person's hand. a tiny microphone is being held to the bat's face. Text at the bottom of the image reads: "I have had a very long day.... I am very small and I have no money so you can imagine the kind of stress I am under"

Adoration. Real photo postcard from my collection, no date, info except an embossed photo studio logo that says “Duclos - Lowell” - presumably Lowell, Massachusetts.

I don’t even care if the movie is shit, at this point. He’s gonna look like THIS. And that’s all that matters honestly.

i don’t think people understand how much of life is grief. not just people dying, but losing the version of yourself you thought you’d become. grieving the city you had to leave. the friends you lost not in argument, but in silence. the summer that will never come back. the feeling that maybe you peaked at 12 when you were reading books under the covers and believing in forever

when boy bands sing a love song addressed to the listener does that imply all 5-10 of them are in love with you at once. that seems like a lot of pressure i don't know if i want to be the nucleus of the boyband polycule.
