The 75th annual Honey Festival must have been such a devastating night because

  • Linda died
  • Gerald died
  • Zoey died
  • Sam died
  • Ted died
  • Barry Swift died
  • Sheila died
  • Marco died
  • Literally everyone at the festival nearly died (they don’t remember tho so)
  • Holloway “died”
  • Anything I maybe forgot

Then some time just before or after the festival:

  • Emma and Ziggs were arrested
  • All the Metzgers died
  • Most of if not all of the checker-tailed nighthawk population was wiped out
  • Gabe died
  • Mary died
  • Noah died
  • Boy Jerry died
  • Girl Jeri died
  • Frank’s dog Buddy died
  • Plus the killer track was being spread by Kale for a while but idk if that’s exclusive to Hatchetfield
  • Honourable mention to Pete being stuck at camp with a broken leg because that sucks

i really love your username

i accidentally read it as the gay whore ally likes musicals, and then realised I was probably wrong

but both interpretations make sense

Yeah that happens sometimes. I don’t mind it because both are true. Im a gay who likes musicals, and an ally of gay whores

hi! im here to give some feedback on your art. im going to do this like i do critiques in my art classes, some constructive criticism, positives, and general comments :)

first, i would recommend trying to keep your values clear!! this jumps out at me most with the animal hf characters, paul, wilbur, and ethan. the dark shades mean a lot of details blur together. even if its not as accurate to your vision, adding some highlights to differentiate can be really helpful. blues and purples look really nice on black (think violets hair from the incredibles :))

i cant quite tell, so this could be moot point, but shading with a low opacity black can really wash and dull things out. a lot of things say to never use it, i dont quite agree because sometimes you do want things a bit dull, but trying to use a bit of a different color for shading can really add interest to a work (i used to do this a lot, just changing the value on your selected color on the color wheel, try moving it a bit towards another color while darkening it!

i do really enjoy your style, but maybe experiment with cleaning it up a tad. this is mostly in reference to blinkys hair, i think more direction in how you incorporated the darker orange would be lovely

and i know you stylize a lot, but try to focus on how exactly you choose to exaggerate features! i say this to all younger artists, and i know its boring and kinda sucks, but do anatomy studies. find models online, stock images, screenshots from hatchetfield shows! but dont neglect the real life stuff too. one of the most helpful things ive ever done was a figure drawing section in an art class, where we sat and had someone from the class pose for a few minutes while everyone did a quick sketch. if you have anyone in your life, a parent or sibling or friend willing to do that for you, try!! it will look janky at first, but it can be really important to study those features and how bodies look. and we did that right before our character design unit, its not just something you need for realism, but it can help your shapes look better in any style!!<3

i hope this helps, i just saw this post from a mutual who reblogged it and i love a chance to get on my little soapboxx about this kind of thing. i wish you all the luck in the world in your art and upcoming webcomic<3

Thank you! I’ll try to keep these in mind :)

‼️ALRIGHT I WANNA START NEXT YEAR WITH SOME DECENT FUCKING ART.SO PLEASE JUST GIVE ME A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME. ‼️

Thank you.

Hi, I’m a young artist who wants to improve my work. Below are some of my resent works,( mostly hatchetfield fanart because that’s my special interest) I would really like some feedback on them. What works, what doesn’t, any tips or tricks that would help, what I need to work on, or just any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

I know I already did this but I got literally nothing. I wanna do art professionally , not to mention I’m certainly drawing a webcomic rn. I don’t have anyone irl to talk to about this so this is kinda important to me :P
