Beez gave me this idea and i really dig it. i don't have much to say on it but i love the idea cause the potential for their dynamic is crazy. i kinda had the idea of like- they became redeemed/fallen because the afterlives they were leading were miserable for them and they wanted things to change, so when they meet one another and see how they're fallen/redeemed they both go "why the fuck would you want to do that" at each other

ofc they get over their instinctual "wtf is wrong with you" reactions to one another eventually and fall in love, but boy does it take a minute to see where the other is coming from

Beez asked me for my own ideas for this but i couldn't answer mostly because i live under a rock and don't know enough characters to suggest- but also it doesn't help im aego in a way where i don't really get attracted to specific characters so i have no reference point to work with

i am shoving this question onto y'all in hopes your answers will be enough to apease the Beez

in trying to come up with new ways to make Saiouma meet each other i've some how landed on them meeting through a DICE member

like- the idea is somehow another DICE member knows him first and introduces him to Kokichi, maybe in a situation where actually the member in question is friends with his cousin Petra, and after Petra mentioned Shuichi having no a social life outside of his online friend group PIMP they offered to introduce him to their friends in hopes he'd maybe click with someone there

they're trying to socialize the shut-in, and i mean- it worked right? (he is down abysmal for whatever the fuck is wrong with Kokichi)

it's never too late for vampires-

au where Kokichi is a vampire and has never seen himself/forgotten what he looks like, so Shuichi in all his gay glory decides to draw a portrait for him so he can see himself again.

this ofc kinda banks on Shuichi knowing how to draw well enough for this to be effective, but i think it's cute so we're pretending he can draw

Kai's being deranged again! it's a soulmates au where saiouma are childhood friends, lezgo!

the idea is basically when they were kids they didn't really fully understand or care about the concept of soulmates, and also being little kids they had that "eeewwww, gross!" mentality about the concept of romance, so natrually when they found out they were soulmates they wenr "nuh-uh!" and declared each other to be fated best friends instead

fast forward to when they're in their late teens early 20s and this becomes a Huge Problem for them. you see, they never actually ever talked about their soulmate status since they were kids, the most recent time being when they were in early middle and their health class had a lecture on soulmates and they went "so we still aren't doing that right?" "yeah that's gross icky love"- BUT NOW they're older and also have very much fallen in love with one another, and because they're still under the assumption they other wants nothing to do with him like that they think they have no chance

this however does not stop them from being down abysmal for one another and making stupid decicions in each other's presence- which ofc results in multiple instances of them getting inebriated together and making out, escaping from the situations still thinking the other isn't into him by the sheer power of their black hole rivialing denseness

i love when they're so dense they end up in a situationship and don't even realize it

what happens when you have a hc where a character who is notorious for messing with people is a light sleeper? revenge from the other characters that's what

this idea started with me finding the idea of my hc ouma sisters waking Kokichi up with Taps funny, but honestly with my hc of Kokichi being a light sleeper i could totally see all sorts of people in his life using it to mess with him when/if he ever takes a nap near them

anything from Kaito making him jump 10ft in the air by blasting music at him, to DICE members gamifying it by trying not to wake him while doing increasingly more stupid shit near him. hell i can even see Shuichi having to come up with clever ways to escape bed to go be an insomniac without waking Kokichi when they stay over at each other's places (and later on live together) and lowkey getting a bit of thrill from it

Kokichi is a light sleeper and everyone around him is making his problem and their entertainment

i thought of this cause i found an old prompt i made that mentioned how because Shuichi's the ult detective he's probably got his understanding of how hiding and evading capture works down to a science, and i thought it'd be really funny if Kokichi thought he could get an easy game win against Shuichi with a round or two of hide and seek so he could tease him a little- but then turns out Shuichi is cracked at this

it's not just seeking either, he can use the knowledge he has not just to hunt Kokichi like a blood hound, but to also hide really well himself. Kokichi has found himself in a proper game he can go toe to toe with Shuichi in instead of just cheesing it in some way for his amusement, forces him to lock in while playing it and it's great

it's a dumb thought but a fun one, saiouma being cracked at hide and seek together

i feel like Kokichi got as smart as he is out of spite

like yeahe he is just natrually clever and shit, but he gets a kick out of doing thing out of spite and his neurodivergent ass was not accepting his teachers not elaborating on things. every time a teacher failed to tell him why something was done the way it was even if he kept asking, he'd truck his ass to the library after school to use their computers and books to find the answer he wanted, and along the way he'd learn alot of other things too

he still does this shit too, it's in part why he's so tech savy, he realized he should know things about computers that he didn't and when his family couldn't provide answers he ran off to find them himself- now he's jailbroken his laptop and phone

Kokichi greatly dislikes not knowing things and trying to gatekeep him from that knowledge will only empower him

as you can imagine, many bad teachers and subs were not fond of him

vigilante Kokichi au where his primary weapon is his spray paint

i'm serious, all he needs to do is be stealthy then sneak attack his target by spraying them directly in the face with just enough paint to temporarily blind and disorient them, and make it hard for them to breath without coughing (and spitting if they got it in their mouth), but not seriously hurt them with like- fumes or poisoning. while they're preoccupied by the paint Kokichi can down them, tie them up for the law enforcement convenience, and loot their pockets for any weapons and cash while waiting. he'd leave some graffiti at the scene as a calling card so when he dips when he hears the cops finally show up they know who caught the criminal/villain with their pants down (notably, he also pulled their pants down while waiting)

if he has an invisibility superpower then that just makes the stealth ten times easier, even against other people with super powers it'd still work pretty well considering most powers aren't spray-paint proof

very short but fun concept-

DICE but their code names work like military nicknames: they all got them from embarrassing/stupid shit they did early on in their time in DICE (ex: "Viper" for someone who got bit by a non venomous snake and thought they were gonna die about it)

Kokichi's 110% has to be something that sounds cool when you first hear it but has the stupidest origin of them all, he's the leader he has to be jabbed at the hardest for his most dumbest stunt

guys i think there's something wrong with my horse-

also fun fact: the year Kokichi was born in my headcanons (2002) was also the year of the horse- this was completely coincidental on my part but i do find it funny

this is probably the furthest from a hot take you can get but i think Kokichi would adore spending time on online games fucking with people

anything from minecraft to gmod- if it has public servers he can troll people in, he will. the amount of bans he's gotten and accounts he's had to make because the last one got perma banned by the game system itself is fuckin' nuts. he isn't even doing anything destructive, he's not stealing people's money or griefing anyone's stuff- he's just supremely annoying and cracked at psychological warfare

what's worse is despite the sheer amount of bans he's gotten almost half of them were hard for mods to set because while everyone agreed he was driving them nuts, he never once broke a server rule and as such can't be banned on normal grounds because the mods actually cared about following the rules they set. he drove their asses nuts trying to figure out how to ban him on fair grounds for being the most insufferable lil shit
