You know how in "Pulse" when Spinnerella and Netossa were getting all compettive about the bots they were blowing up and Netossa gave Spinny a kiss. I just noticed that Glimmer chimes in at the end with her own count and I think she CLEARLY wants Adora to give her a kiss too.

The way Adora's ponytail wags whenever she moves her head... she's such a puppygirl, I swear.

While we are all still saddened by the fact that She-Ra is leaving Netflix, I am pleased to see lots of new people coming to the fandom and watching the show for various reasons. Headcanon I've sometimes had. If Adora got pregnant, she'd probably likely only have one kitten baby due hers and Catra's biology being different but her human biology would probably be more dominant. But if Catra gets pregnant, she can have a full litter of cat babies because her feline biology is better to have multiple babies at once. So thus I sometimes like I imagine that Adora gave birth to Finn but Catra had Finn's little siblings!

Not gonna lie, Glimmer totally could have just kissed Catra on the lips there and then and Adora wouldn't mind, she's just happy both her girlfreinds are clearly in love with each other.

Question? Do you think Catra would likely get a longer coat in the winter and thus would be extra floofy? I bet Adora would never stop cuddling her if that happened.

Catradora Mecha AU snippet

So here's something I drabbled out just now that will probably got into a mecha AU I've been thinking about for a while, ever since I saw @foolforshera's mecha post. Hope you like it!

Adora was fourteen years old when Shadow Weaver first forced her to pilot Despara. The Technomage had spent the better part of a decade trying to create the ultimate war machine to assist in the Horde's conquest of Etheria, a mecha that would rival even the strongest Magic-infused machine that the Princeses could throw at the Horde. She had also made sure that the mecha couldn't just be piloted by anyone. She'd spent years moulding a group of young children from the Horde's cadet ranks, training them to exceed both mentally and physically above all others. Adora of course, had always been her favourite. She had been found by the witch shortly after the Horde arrived on Etheria after the Impact Event that brought the planet to the empire's attention and instantly knew the strange young girl had the potential for greatness.

But Adora didn't expect to be so suddenly thrust into this. She was ordered at gunpoint into the main hangar of the Fright Zone, escorted by two elite Force Captains. It was there she first saw Despara. A massive black and red machine vaguely resmbling the humanoid form, the glow of its red central optic making Adora shudder in fear. It looked like a monster that had come from her nightmares.

Weaver ordered Adora to get into the machine, to pilot it. It was designed for her after all. Adora pleaded that she didn't want to, that it was scary. Weaver berated her, telling her to stop being a little coward. This was what she wanted wasn't it? To prove herself to the Horde?

It was then another door opened and Adora saw a sight that worried her even more. Catra, her best friend, lying on a gurney, bandages over half her body. She looked at Adora weakly, Adora wanting to rush over to her friend, but she was held in place by the troopers at her side. Shadow Weaver explained that Catra, being the expendable one, had been sent out in the Despara a few days earlier during a training mission, but she lost control and was injured in the process. But if Adora wouldn't pilot Despara, Catra would be forced to pilot the machine again and this time, Shadow Weaver couldn't garunette if the Magicat would survive.

There was no choice for Adora, as she heard Catra pleading for her life, begging her to not let Shadow Weaver put her through that torture again.. With a heavy heart… she agreed and from that day forward, she was the pilot of the deadliest weapon Etheria had ever known, all to save the life of her best friend.

When the Horde first invaded Etheria after the Impact Event brought the planet to their attention, King Micah of Brightmoon was the one to lead the charge against them, piloting Crescent Moon alongside the other ancient machines that had been in the care of Etheria's kingdoms for thousands of years. The Mecha were from the age of the First One's, mixtures of science and socrery, able to channel their pilots magic through their systems. Micah was one of the best, but tragically, he was seemingly killed when he attempted to stop one of the Horde's Monstroid beasts from destroying Brightmoon.

It took many years for Crescent Moon to be repaired after that fateful battle. Princess Glimmer was determined to avenge her father's death. She spent years training in Brightmoon's simulators, preparing herself for the day she hoped she would be at Crescent Moon's controls to wipe out the Horde once and for all. But Queen Angella, not wanting to lose a daughter as well, forbade her from going anywhere near the ancient machine, locked away in a hangar deep beneath the fjord that surrounded Brightmoon. Instead, Glimmer cut her teeth piloting the simpler mechs the Rebellion preferred, fighting alongside her best friend Bow as one of the Rebellion's best squadrons.

But there came a day when she and Bow stumbled onto the Horde launching their final assault on Brightmoon and worse still, the Despara was leading the attack, the most powerful mecha in the Horde's arsenal, a machine that had singlehandedly laid whole kingdoms to waste. Glimmer attempted to take on the Despara, but she was badly outgunned and even self-destructing the mech didn't stop the Despara in its tracks. She and Bow barely made it back to Brightmoon and it was then that Glimmer realised there was no choice. There was only one machine capable of taking on Despara.

As the Horde began to seige Brightmoon, Glimmer and Bow snuck down to the hangar beneath the city, where Crescent Moon awaited them, having not moved from its hangar in over fifteen years. As Glimmer prepared to climb inside, she and Bow were suddenly stopped in the tracks when Angella called to them. Glimmer half expected her mother to scold her as if she was a little girl still, pulling a prank of some kind, but instead Angella finally accepted this was what her daughter wanted and knew she was their best hope. She handed Glimmer her father's old helmet, her own one having been damaged in the battle with Despara, telling her father would want her to go into battle with Crescent Moon in style.

And thus, Glimmer climbed into Crescent Moon, watching as the hangar doors opened, the water from the fjord flowing into the vast chamber as the mecha powered up, its gold and pink energy wings spreading out. With all systems online, the machine launched out of the hangar, soaring into the sky. Glimmer had never piloted a machine like it, it was as if it was less a mecha and more like an extension of her own being, controlled by her thoughts. But she had more important things to worry about.

With a smiple gesture of her hands, Crescent Moon transformed from its jet mode into its robot form, landing down back on the ground with its massive energy halberd deployed. She saw Despara before her, the black and red mecha towering menacingly before her. It was time for round two.

The defeat of Despara came as a surprise, but unbeknownst to everyone, the mecha's pilot had actually survived. Shortly before Crescent Moon delivered the finishing blow, Adora ejected from her mecha in an escape pod, landing in the Whispering Woods. After recovering from the landing, Adora was in a panic. She assumed the Horde would think she was dead, but she also knew that if she came back to the Horde, Shadow Weaver would like torture her for her failure and for the destruction of the Horde's ultimate weapon.

As much as it pained her, as much as she would miss being with Catra, Adora realised she couldn't go back to the Fright Zone. She quickly discarded the tattered remains of her pilot suit and fled into the woods. For the next couple days, Adora did her best to survive, though at night, she found her dreams filled with strange images and voices, of a blue woman calling to her and images of a sword.

As the dreams became more and more frequent, Adora realised there had to be something genuinely calling to her in these woods. Eventually, she came to a clearing and indeed, just like in the dreams there was a sword, an ancient golden magitech weapon with a shimmering silvery-blue blade. But by the time Adora grabbed the sword and pulled it out… she was surrounded. She turned, seeing a young woman with pink hair, armed with a tech-staff and a man with an energy bow standing behind her.

They saw the Horde insignia on the back of Adora's shirt, assuming she was a soldier. Adora pulled out the sword, telling her foes she wouldn't hesitate to fight back. The woman charged at Adora, who used the sword to defend herself. To Adora's surprise, the sword seemed to react to her thoughts, transforming into new shapes with the mere mental command. It transformed into a double bladed form, Adora using it to fight off her attackers. However, the three of them were suddenly attacked when a group of ancient First One's droids suddenly reactivated. The droids were easily fought off but suddenly, they combined into a larger form that threatened the three of them.

Adora raised the sword, a voice in her mind to call out for the honour of Grayskull. Suddenly, her body was enveloped in a golden light, as Adora and the sword became one, transforming the blonde into a white and gold, mecha-like form, armed with a much larger version of the sword. Adora used her new powers to easily destroy her foe. But the ordeal weakened her and she fell to the ground. The pink-haired woman demmanded Adora tell her how she did that, but Adora didn't know. It was then the woman introduced herself. Princess Glimmer of Birhgtmoon. Adora then finally realised who she was dealing with. The very same pilot who just a few days earlier… had destroyed the Despara.
