Elvis Presley and singer Nancy Holloway on the set of Girls! Girls! Girls!; 1962.

Nancy was a black woman from Chicago, performing in Europe. Apparently there was some kiss kiss bang bang between the two of them. :P

Elvis and Nancy in Paris

A note from Nancy: Elvis, could you do me last (brief?) favor and come backstage immediately after the finale?

Further information on their story:

"Many foreign stars - such as American singer Nancy Holloway- gave guest performances at the Moulin Rouge. One evening, during her show, Nancy Holloway saw Elvis in the audience and immediately scribbled a short note on the first piece of paper she could find: “Elvis, could you do me one last big favor and come backstage immediately after the finale? Thank you in advance. Nancy Holloway." She sent the message to Elvis, who wrote an answer on the back of the same piece of paper: “I will be at the entrance to the backstage, as you asked. E.P.”

As Elvis promised, he went to see her. Nancy Holloway recalls:

“After the show, he came to see me in my dressing room and we really hit it off. At the time. He was going out with one of the Kessler sisters, who were dancing at the Lido. Afterward as I used to do every night, I went to sing at the Mars Club, a Jazz club. He would often come to end his nights with us. That’s how we met. He was really great. He’s someone I’ll always love, note, just because of who he was, but also for the man whom I knew. I loved his Southern accent. He was very good looking, as well as very modest. Actually, I didn’t know Elvis, the performer. When he was here, he was just like everyone else, and very relaxed. The first time that he saw Paris, he found it wonderful! At the time, I often sang “Fever” and Elvis said to me, “I’d forgotten all about that. When I get back, I’m going to record it” – and he did."

It makes me sad that you have to dig and dig and dig to find stories like this. I know Nancy went on to meet up with Elvis a few years later. How did that come about? Was it by invitation? Was it by accident? Will we ever know??

Top Ten Old Married Couple Moments is in "Vendetta" when Hutch asks 'where's my jacket?' and Starsky replies 'I thought you had it on'

Honestly, most of "Satan's Witches", but especially when Hutch is wearing his little apron and trying to get Starsky to taste test his cooking.

What he wore underneath remains a burning question, though.

MAYBE HE HAD A LOT OF SLUMBER PARTIES!!!!

OMFG. A girl can only fantasize

This boy loved his luxuries. I-- NEED to make this. Please God give me the strength.

I found this!

Elvis owned and wore this beautiful long black velvet caftan with heavy gold embroidery down the front, arms and back as well as these blue pajamas. Elvis purchased the caftan at one of his favorite stores, “Susie Cream Cheese” in Las Vegas and it bears the store’s label. The caftan is paired with Elvis’ light blue Musingwear pajamas trimmed in navy piping with his initials embroidered over the left chest pocket. The Musingwear label, sewn into the pajamas, indicates a size large and both the pajama top and bottoms have laundry stamps reading “E. Presley.”
