Tip: when writing 616 Tony, if you think it’s Too Dramatic, trust me. It probably isn’t. He’s probably already done that thing, canonically.
This happened to me like 6 times when I was writing America Isn’t Chicken, since I didn’t have as deep a knowledge of 616 canon that I do now.
For instance: the most dramatic scene, where tony is actively talking to Steve as he prepares to EMP himself and stop his heart to stop all the evil robots that surround them and Steve is screaming at him not to and tony is like YEAH BUT IM GONNA?
Totally a fucking thing that literally happened in canon I wrote the most over the top dramatic bullshit I could think of and Tony’s been doing this shit for years lay the fuck down this drama queen will always out drama your headcanon of him
