More or less this is always me because , while I can go for dinner or have cake on my b day, I could never actually have a party with friends since it’s on December 28th, which is sandwiched between Christmas and New years. Also, the presents thing is kinda weird because, you know, Christmas and my birthday are close together….. also existential dread because ✨depresso espresso✨
This will never happen, BUT!
It would be endlessly funny to me if Dave writes 6-7.5 episodes of Ahsoka S2 with Sabine as a Real Jedi Padawan alongside Ahsoka on Peridea only to return her home, and, without any kind of explanation as to why, make her Force-null again.
Nothing. Nada. No matter what she does or how hard she tries, she can just never get it to work. Ever again.

Actually, now that I think about it, it’s not that funny! I’m ok with this. And it seems…likely? Or at least possible? If Peridea is being compared to Narnia? Let Peridea be such a strong, Force-weird place that literally anyone could use the Force. (But not Thrawn I guess.) Or have Sabine be some kind of tool for a Force weirdo that’s targeted her and given her powers. That would be awesome. (I mean, if she’s gonna be a tool for the narrative then let her just be a tool in the narrative because it was never about her anyway.)
(Again, not that Dave would explain any of these things. We’d just have to infer from the events of the story.)
Idk. These aren’t new or novel thoughts re: Force User Sabine. I was just thinking it would be hilarious (and awesome) if Sabine’s whole Force experience on Peridea would end up having no lasting impact on the character and the franchise such that it would feel like a fever dream to (us and) Real Mandalorian Sabine once she returns home.
That would be so entertaining in terms of watching certain parts of the fandom explode lol

the way that rebels chose to change mira’s model actually haunts me. we can see the physical toll that 8 years in imperial prison did to her. her cheeks are no longer round. her chin is sharp. her eyes are sunken. someone had to sit down and make these changes meaning they were absolutely intentional meaning THEY DID THIS ON PURPOSE!!! THEY WANTED US TO SEE THIS CHANGE!!!!

Yay! I’ve been waiting for this! Legit, whenever I hear that track from war horse, I always get sad thinking about Sabine and Ezra especially since when I first saw that video, Ahsoka wasn’t out yet and I was living on the rebels cliffhanger 😢 (also, did you make a video about Sabezra with Luke and leia as the backing score? I can’t remember if that was you or someone else and if it was you, what is the vid called?)
