do you have any ideas for what a gg1/missing link anji might look like? or even gg1/missing link anbai?
I don't really think much would change from his XX look aside from probably having even messier/scragglier hair. He's already got a fairly simple design in the earlier games, and aside from a few characters getting a new look after Missing Link (Faust, Axl, Millia) most of the cast kinda stays the same aside from a few touches (Sol, Ky, May, Baiken, Zato, etc etc).
as for Missing Link AnBai? Since the tournament is secretly a plot to revive Justice ends with the victor getting whatever wish they want, I think they'd compete for opposing reasons/their usual reasons. Baiken doesn't really have much to do with the story outside of being a secret boss/being the first to fight Justice and getting defeated second time around, but I think they'd both compete to get some answers. Baiken to find out who was responsible for the destruction of her home, and Anji wanting to know who the true mastermind behind all of this is.
I want more chronic pain whump. Give me a cocky, independent character who suddenly can’t walk because a sudden rain storm aggravated their old leg wounds and now they have to lean on a friend to get home. Give me a usually stoic character shaking with pain during a flare up. Give me a character who’s finally healed having their first bad pain day and abruptly feeling like they’re back at square one.
thinking about world building/aesthetics from GG and noticing how everything kinda feels like it's being taken from past present and future at the same time. Like, quite a few of the things in this world feel old. The furniture and housing feels kinda antique (especially in some of the older art pieces), some of the clothing like from the colonies looks more traditional, the presidential car, and some of the technology like the radio from another story and entire system set ups feel like they're based off of older ones, etc etc. And then you have more modern fashion like t-shirts and hoodies and jackets, Sol's queen vinyl, I-No's guitar, electric light boards, multiple music references from the 80's-90's,
And then a LOT of stuff that's just futuristic technology/magic. You got holograms, magic phones, motorcycles that are also a nuclear rail gun, giant handcuffs as accessories, I could go on here.
Welp there's a new problem I've run into in terms of commissions and that is: taxes
You know what I'm tired of having to curb my ideas or add a little disclaimer that "this would't actually happen given X from this game" like why can't I just entertain this idea as is. Who cares if it doesn't make sense why not just juggle it in my head for five minutes. What if this did happen actually. what about that.
We all know you love Anji and Baiken, but do you main them in the game or someone else? (Or maybe you don’t have time to play anymore, then who would you main?)
I do occasionally play strive once in a blue moon, usually with friends, and if I’m not maining Baiken then I’m maining May. I think I’ve played Anji before for a little bit, and I kinda miss it!
