Soma is some kind of demon or eldritch entity that's been "leashed," and Daydel is his keeper.
Soma intentionally doesn't learn Daydel's name to be annoying, insisting instead on calling him Beansprout due to his two leafish cowlicks.
They're both different flavors of immortal.
i only just realized i’ve been in a pretty decent chunk of campaigns because i have so many different tabletop characters
this is therai, a tiefling rogue. he grew up on the streets and the one (1) decent thing he does is donate money to the orphanage in the town he spent most of his youth at (not hometown; that was destroyed it’s a long story)
he looks all dignified-like but in actuality he 1) ran straight into a slime and almost died 2nd session 2) refused to do jack shit after that incident for like 2 more 3) was kidnapped by a dragon prince and almost eaten 4) paid chuck norris 1 gold to get out of his airship cabin and be eaten instead 5) spent an entire session seduced by an incubus
back at it again with the dnd character busts (call of cthulhu actually, and more than a bust this time!)
milo is a new detective with a specialty in hacking. computers & charm are his only good points, he’s useless at most other things. he very much pretends he’s competent and capable, though, which will probably lead him into some trouble in the future.........
first day on the job a toilet exploded and he got caught in the cross fire... really good way to make a first impression
