Can I tell you guys about my favourite meme at the moment

So. This year's edition of Big Brother Brazil just ended tonight and I need to mention that this is my FAVOURITE meme from this year.

So this contestant, called Fiuk, has become a meme for being.. dead.

He looked like this before the show.

Very much belongs to the realm of the living.

His father is a very famous singer in Brazil, and Fiuk is famous on his own for being involved in the 2000s pop punk/emocore craze. This man is rich, ok.

But then he arrived in the Big Brother house, and people started noticing...... all this man does... is smoke.

The other contestants would be talking to each other and he'd be off in a corner somewhere smoking. In the beginning of the show he looked quite alive, often cooking for the house..

But then..... some time into the show... his appearance started changing. In a rather alarming way. My man started looking... a bit dead.

WTF IS THIS?? HOW IS THIS MAN EVEN ALIVE?

In fact he looked so dead that some of the contestants kind of treated him like he was and just kind of left him in a corner

Even covering him up like he was dead!

But... this all peaked when he went up for elimination. See, I don't know if all editions of Big Brother do this, but in Brazil, all the contestants up for elimination wear heartbeat monitors. Their heart rates are shown on screen.

And I don't know what kind of malfunction happened with Fiuk's heart monitor, but when his heart rate showed on screen...

IT SAID ZERO!!!!!! LIKE HE WAS ACTUALLY DEAD!!!!!

In fact, he looked SO dead that Brazilians managed to pull a sick prank on foreign internet by convincing gringos that Fiuk was actually dead.

The prank worked and we thought it was hilarious. Sorry gringos.

"Why would this character be jealous of their friend's romantic relationships? Clearly they're in love with them" I don't know if you guys have ever Had Friends but it's actually pretty common for people to feel jealous if their best friend suddenly has less time for them and is prioritising someone they just met over them. That's not inherently romantic, that's the general human desire to be valued by the people you value.
