Me after reading the 20th book about some angel descendants fighting demons and dealing with their very emotional love lives

obsessed w how the tmi gang still just travels as a unit when probably one or two of them are only ever needed in the first place. like if this is a shadowhunter/mundane/clave issue, alec is probably the only one that needs to be there, but he’s like “i need to bring my husband. and also my emotional support parabatai, who needs his wife, and she needs her emotional support parabatai too, who needs his wife, who’s also my sister. we’re all coming actually” and i think that’s beautiful
The fact that there are multiple times in canon (and obv countless times in fic) where people find out about hollanov and are like "could this affect how they play against each other? Have they ever let each other win???"
And the true and normal answer is, "no, of course not, they are both professionals who take their craft very seriously."
But the even MORE true answer is, "well, it DOES affect their game, in that they are even more competive with each other, because winning at hockey is a Sex Thing for them."
But they can't tell people that :/
I just need a scene of KitTy talking. I need them to tell each other of all that has happened over the three years. I need Ty to tell Kit how much he worries over Livvy and how he found Irene. I need Kit to tell Ty how much he cares for Mina and which subject in school he hates the most. So yes, I just need them to talk and to get to know each other again.
Neil and Andrew's relationship is so interesting cause they break every cliché there is.
Love at first sight? Andrew slammed a racket to Neil and Neil's first words words were "Fuck you."
Love triangle? Sorry, he thinks being straight is easier and is currently in a threesome with exy and vodka.
Grumpy/Sunshine? They're both antisocial.
Mutual pining? Neil doesn't realize he feels attracted to Andrew till he spell things out.
Obsessive/Toxic relationship? Their relationship is probably the most healthiest one Neil ever had in his life.
Slow burn? To us it was three books but to them it happened within a year.
The only thing that comes close is Enimes to Lovers, but that's because Andrew dislikes humans and Neil doesn't trust anything that can breathe.
