Police take fiscal oxygen out of the room, away from actual social support programs. The money spent on policing could go to housing, nutritional services, healthcare, civil rights, building inspections, labor rights enforcement, street maintenance, public transportation. I'm gonna go ahead and say a major part of why people on this website think that isandry is a thing is because of how white thise website is and I'm not kidding.

Over a decade ago black users on this site were desperately trying to get people to understand that pure interpersonal sentiment was useless in evaluating axes of oppression.

While a black person can hold anti-white sentiment, it is absurd to claim that "reverse racism" or "anti-whiteness" are serious social forces because we live in a while supremacist society. Black people have no real power to wield such a system against white people.

Thus given that we live in a factually documented patriarchal society, it is completely erroneous to suggest that misandry is a meaningful societal force. Women as a social class have no ability to wield the levers of society against men as a social class.

It's 2025. In the US, there are no abortion protections and we let women die in hospital parking lots who need them. Trad wife culture thriving. "Quiet Piggy" becomes appropriate commentary to female reporters. Women's participation in the workforce backsliding to 80's levels. Girls blamed for the "male loneliness epidemic." Female dominant fields in the dept of Ed being declassified as professional. Pregnant mothers taking Tylenol nonsensically blamed for autism rates. Bathroom laws policing who is woman enough to safely pee. GLP1s being crammed down our throats and thin ideal culture returning to early 00 norms. Tech companies making wearable tech to track your spouse's every move. Pink jobs blue jobs bullshit chatter. Sexual harassment complaints in the workplace surging but legal protections rolled back. Programs/funding/subsidies for low-income families (more likely to be headed by women) for food, healthcare, etc., slashed and burned.

But noooOoOOo there's no coordinated campaign of misogyny afoot.

I've lived 23 years as an adult now. I can't stop thinking about how the 10 years I lived from 2005 to 2015 really felt like HEY THIS IS CHANGE I CAN GET BEHIND. Now, nothing was perfect, all the isms were alive and thriving the whole time but we saw some true structural change about a lot of shit. MOVEMENT. Slow...incremental...and often backsliding, but CHANGE.

The 10 years from 2015-today, THE OPPOSITE. All I have felt is incremental BACKSLIDING and worsening every day, with one-off changes that are good but are pretty much, without exception, erased again.

It's so concerning. I can't ignore it...It's a constant sensation of disappointment, simmering rage, fear, and a very real level of ever present fight-flight-freeze-fawn mode.

Just so people know the background on this man and his herd of guinea pigs-- he moved into a house, and discovered about 10 guinea pigs living in a fenced area of the back garden. It was overgrown so he never noticed before moving in. It turned out the previous tenants just abandoned the poor babies. So Cyd immediately was like "well I guess im a father now." And began learning how to care for them.

He didnt realize he had to separate the males from the females (they'd been intermingled when he found them so it didnt occur to him) until suddenly all the females were pregnant and by the time he was able to separate them all out, he now had 80 guinea pigs.

This man became an awesome guinea dad to his 80 guinea pigs. On his tiktok he documents building them new, nicer outdoor homes, beginning to regularly grow grasses to feed them, while also spending over 100 pounds a week to keep them in supply of fresh veggies. He also treats them for lice and tics ever 3 months.

He recognizes each one and each one has a name.

So, the thing with isuggestforcefem/suggestrogen, is that we have already run her little acceptance experiment in the therian community, years ago. Zoophilia has always been a problem in that community. It's an open secret among all therians who participate in community activities, like debates, zines, howls, and forums.

One of the largest therian forums, Therian-Guide, had a pro-zoophilia, anti-bestiality policy. Zoophiles were allowed to discuss their experiences, so long as they didn't discuss bestiality. In 2017 it would come to light LycanTheory, an the admin of the forum, had been raping his dog behind the scenes. The other admins swore they didn't know, but their disapproval of LycanTheory's actions seemed lukewarm at best, and he remained a part of the forum until he chose to leave in 2022 because, according to him, the other admins didn't want to protect zoophiles against harassment.

During the time that zoophilia was welcomed on Therian-Guide (the forum has been under different management since 2025, and I don't know their current stance on it), discussions of zoophilia were allowed in pg13 subforums. Minors were not discouraged from discussing zoophilia - if anything, they were encouraged to embrace zoophilia and identify themselves as zoophiles.

After LycanTheory left Therian-Guide, he started his own pro-bestiality forum, Therian Underground, which thankfully isn't around anymore, but which rallied zoophiles around a cause, and only made them more supportive of bestiality.

There is no good reason to embrace a paraphilia that would be harmful to carry out in real life and to make it part of your identity. It has only ever led to acts being carried out in real life, be it bestiality, child molestation, incest, or necrophilia. When isuggestforcefem/suggestrogen says that you should be "proud" to be friends with pedophiles, she is playing into the hands of child molesters. There's no way to separate paraphilia-as-identity from paraphilia-embraced from paraphilia-carried-out. If the only thing you're attracted to is children, and you embrace your attraction-behaviors instead of redirecting them, you will eventually begin to objectify children. Once you objectify children, the path to exploiting them, abusing them, and raping them is open.

That said rejecting people for their paraphilias alone is also not a good course of action, as it causes them to seek community with other paraphiles. If you push a person with paraphilias away from their support network, they will build their own support network. This happened with all the people who left Therian-Guide in favor of Therian Underground. The only thing that has helped the zoophilia problem in the therian community is to welcome people who struggle with zoophilic attraction and, rather than telling them that they should embrace it, encourage them to redirect onto adjacent material, like anthros, fantasy creatures, plushies, etc.

You should not be "proud" to be friends with pedophiles, as isuggestforcefem/suggestrogen says. You should be fucking ashamed to associate with someone who openly embraces their urge to hurt children.

Speaking of zoophilia, these posts by one of isuggestforcefem's supporters were just brought to my attention

"Some zoophiles just have a harmless attraction to animals and don't actually hurt them"

"Hey, I suspect you might be a zoophile"

"Okay then name one animal I've hurt"

So which is it? Is zoophilia a harmless thing that should be welcomed? Or is it animal abuse?

People actually do surf Lake Superior :) they have insulated full body suits for it

But also it is a sea. The Great Lakes are freshwater seas. The waves are also more dangerous than ocean waves since the waves don’t have as much space and time between them. They can be quite deadly though superior being so deep and tumultuous does make it the deadliest.

Also if you’re fascinated by them and admire them please help us keep them clean!! Line 5 is still planned to be built, an oil pipeline that would travel underwater in Lake Michigan. We also are fighting AI data centers trying to set up shop in Michigan.

The Great Lakes are in a massive basin and all our water connects in one way or another. This is 20% of the world’s available freshwater
