This “remix” of the Millennium main theme was on the official Millennium soundtrack, with no explanation. I don’t know for sure but I think it’s Lance Henrikson singing with Allan Zinyk (who played the young hacker Brian Roedecker in the show)

I love how the Millennium theme music is playing in the background of this scene. I always loved that song, maybe even more than the X-Files theme. Frank Black was a fantastic character who deserved a better ending than this episode, but it’s better than no ending at all I suppose.

X-Files fans of Jose Chung’s From Outer Space, please be aware that there is a Jose Chung episode of Millennium called Doomsday Defense that is equally if not even funnier than the X-Files episode.  Also written and directed by Darin Morgan, Jose Chung is writing another book, this time about the impending turn of the century. Here are a few screenshots. Notice the “Spotnitz Sanitarium” which was referenced in the season 11 X-Files episode “The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat.

The show followed Frank Black (Lance Henriksen), a forensic profiler with special psychic abilities useful in the investigation of violent and sometimes supernatural crimes.
