said this on bluesky but:

i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.

i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.

disliking pedophiles is ableist now ?

The MAPS advocates have tried for over a decade on this site to social justice wash pedophilia and it was largely unsuccessful until the right wing shift in culture and politics that has normalized pedophilia - Trump and Epstein, protections for the Catholic Church against prosecution, Meta's AI, the FBI shifting all anti-child exploitation resources towards ethnic cleansing and political repression.

Then suddenly, we saw this discourse everywhere whereas before this shift it was fringe. I doubt that's a coincidence - pedophilia like other reactionary positions (racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia and transmisogyny, ableism, etc) have become normalized sentiments even in non far right spaces. The clamor to say "wireback," the resurgence of the r slur as common parlance, etc are all evidence of how the far right shift has bled even into the Left.

I don't see the normalization of MAP/"non-offending pedophiles"/"it's actually free speech to draw pedophilic art"/etc as any different in that regard. Politics and culture shifted and so did most of everyone else, even people nominally opposed to far right politics.

I've acquired a creature that stares at you no matter which direction you look at it from

I’m hypnotized

Two years on, their wood grain has darkened because they live on my laptop keyboard and I'm constantly patting them <3 To be loved is to be changed

Oh! Oh! Oh! I was gifted a similar handsome little fellow today!!! The delight I felt upon seeing him!!! Unmatched!!!

"Block this ad" isn't good enough, I need a feature that directly tells the company "this was so shit that it lowered my opinion of your product"

I’m begging all my mutuals to pay attention to the wildfires in Argentinian Patagonia. Almost 10.000 acres of unique Patagonian Andean forests, with South America tallest and world’s oldest trees, burned and they were all intentional. The worst part is that back in December, the government announced that they would lift the ban on foreigners buying rural land, and on changing the land productive activity after a wildfire for 30-60 years. Firefighters are crying because they don’t have enough resources, the government cut their budget by 70% for this year, while they wasted 300 million dollars on F-16 jet fighters. It’s not just trees, it’s animals and people’s lives, whole towns, that have been endangered, more than 3000 tourists had to be evacuated. The climate catastrophe is worsening the fires, with less rain and more wind this summer.

Yeah I said something similar yesterday but we can NOT let what happened to Renee Good cloud what happened to everyone else at the hands of these SS Demons!!!

Because we can’t disregard one person if we’re for human rights!

The above screenshot reads:

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve. And like Renee Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter. I need y'all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims. (Christopher Webb @cwebbonline.com)

The second screenshot above reads:

Renee Nicole Good wasn't the first killed by ICE... In 2025, ICE murdered: Silverio Villegas Gonzalez Carlos Roberto Montoya Valdez Genry Ruiz Guillén Serawit Gezahagn Dejane Maksym Chernyak Juan Alexis Tineo-Martinez Brayan Garzón-Rayo Nhon Ngoc Nguyen Marie Ange Blaise Abelardo Avellaneda Delgado Jesus Molina-Veya Johnny Noviello Isidro Pérez Tien Xuan Phan Chaofeng Ge Lorenzo Antonio Batrez Vargas Oscar Rascon Duarte Norlan Guzman-Fuentes Miguel Ángel García Medina Johnny Noviello Santos Banegas Reyes Ismael Ayala-Uribe Norlan Guzman-Fuentes Miguel Ángel García Medina Huabing Xie Leo Cruz-Silva Hasan Ali Moh’D Saleh Josué Castro Rivera Gabriel Garcia Aviles Kai Yin Wong Francisco Gaspar-Andrés Pete Sumalo Montejo Shiraz Fatehali Sachwani Jean Wilson Brutus Fouad Saeed Abdulkadir Delvin Francisco Rodriguez Nenko Stanev Gantchev In 2026, ICE has murdered 2 people: Keith Porter [New years eve 2025] Renee Nicole Good -From the ICE_Raids Community on Reddit

And to all of our lovely WWC Followers, particularly those in the United States:

Take care. Take care of each other, your community, yourselves.

Travel in groups and make sure your loved ones know where you are. And absolutely know your rights.

And even in troubled times, try to find a spark of hope, creativity and comfort and hold onto it. For even joy is resistance.

Hate it when TikTok farm cosplayers and cottagecore types say stuff like "I'm not going to use modern equipment because my grandmothers could make do without it." Ma'am, your great grandma had eleven children. She would have killed for a slow cooker and a stick blender.

I’ve noticed a sort of implicit belief that people used to do things the hard way in the past because they were tougher or something. In reality, labor-saving devices have historically been adopted by the populace as soon as they were economically feasible. No one stood in front of a smoky fire or a boiling pot of lye soap for hours because they were virtuous, they did it because it was the only way to survive.

Taking these screenshots from Facebook because they make you log in and won't let you copy and paste:

i mean. this is what the tradwife propaganda is selling isnt it? they want women back in the kitchens, back in the laundry rooms, back in unpaid home labor.

because they want you too tired from a day's work to think about things like rights and wages or equality.

people dont talk about doing things "the traditional way" when it comes to "mens work" like power tools and lawn mowers, its only ever the things women are expected to do.

and if women are expected to perform long hard labor unassisted by technology again, they wont have time to protest or vote or organize. If they're taught from a young age that this is the best way, they won't have the energy to question it.

theres a reason the invention of the washing machine coincides with the beginning of women's rights movements. the men in power are trying to walk it back.
