BOB REYNOLDS

bob and you were both members of the thunderbolts, but he didn't seem to like you. that changes when you return sick from your last mission.
when you asked bob to pretend to be your fake boyfriend, you had no idea you'd fall so hard for him.
for years, you have had visions and dreams about the same man. when the city of new york is attacked by a mysterious figure, you finally find the answers you have been waiting for.
you didn't think you'd ever love again, but you found a man who infiltrated every crevice of your wounded heart and made it a home once again.

BUCKY BARNES

you couldn't help but feel jealous every time you saw bucky and mel together, but to him, you were just a good friend; you had no right to be angry. you had decided to keep your feelings to yourself, until one day everything collapsed.

CLARK KENT

you though that distance would not do your relationship any good, but you accepted it because you loved him. but when things start to change, when he starts looking at another woman with different eyes, you know it´s time to say goodbye. part 2: begin again (ft. bruce wayne) after two years, you´ve finally found someone who values you and makes you feel loved. but where you thrive, clark continues to suffer from your absence. it was a coincidence that fate brought you together again, only this time, you had someone else by your side and that someone had no intention of letting you go.

this is just a draft, but i can't stop thinking about this idea. amnesiac!reader x clark kent. what do you think?

I will always be with you, always. Don't forget that.”

Warm hands held your face, gently caressing your cheek. There they were, those blue eyes you loved so much.

How could I? You always remind me.”

You woke with a start. You’d dreamed about him again.

You stretched with a deep sigh, the dream still swirling in your mind. You tried not to think about how real it felt; how, if you focused, you could still feel the ghost of his touch.

Why? you asked yourself.

Why couldn't you stop thinking about him? Who was the man haunting your dreams?

Two weeks ago, your reality had shifted. You’d woken up in a cold hospital room, alone and disoriented. You had been in a terrible accident, one you couldn't remember.

The only traces of what had happened were the wounds on your body and the heaviness in your chest that refused to lift, even after days. The doctors told you that you were lucky to be alive; they had treated you just in time.

You couldn't grasp how you’d forgotten something so significant. It was normal, they assured you. Sometimes, when faced with trauma, the brain represses memories as a defense mechanism.

With rest and time, some details might return. But you couldn't shake the feeling that something was slipping away.

Everyone was worried. Your family and friends took turns keeping you company at the hospital. You were grateful, of course, but you felt an aching void. Someone was missing.

You just didn't know who.

The feeling only intensified when you returned to your apartment. You knew this place like the back of your hand; you had personally chosen every decoration, every detail. So why did it feel so wrong? Everything was exactly as you’d left it, yet it felt hollow in a way you couldn't explain.

You tried to brush it off as stress, your mind playing tricks on you. But the feeling persisted.

Then the dreams began.

At first, they were just whispers—flashes of a life that seemed a lifetime away. Places you’d never seen, voices you didn't recognize. But then they began to take shape. The voices grew clearer, the places more familiar. And he was always there. You couldn't make out his face, but you knew those blue eyes. Warm, kind eyes that looked at you with pure devotion.

You didn't know who he was or how he was connected to you. You didn't even know if he was real, though something deep inside convinced you he was. The way he spoke, the way his hands held you... that wasn't something your brain could just invent.

There was a theory that dreams are portals to alternate lives, universes of infinite possibilities. Maybe, in another life, you had found him. But your gut told you that wasn't it. Call it a hunch, but it wasn't the answer.

There was a missing piece to the mystery of the man in your dreams, and you needed to find it before you lost your mind.

this for real fucking works

Apparently this one fuckin works, and who am I to argue with the collective agreement of tumblr. Will report back if good things happen.

"this fic uses em dashes, so it must be ai-generated" real humans use em dashes.

"this fic has long paragraphs with overly described details and scenes, so it must be ai-generated" real humans can write like this.

"this fic has inconsistencies, so it must be ai-generated" real humans make errors and mistakes. that's why we have this thing called plot holes. sometimes writers are tired and they don't remember what they wrote in the last sentences or paragraphs, let alone chapters.

"this fic sounds robotic and unnatural, so it must be ai-generated" not every writer writes in their native language. sometimes they can sound 'robotic and unnatural' if they wrote in their second or third or fourth language (and kudos to them).

"this fic has a prompt left in it that the author forgot to delete, so it must be ai-generated" the 'prompt' the author accidentally left in their fic could actually be a part of an outline that was meant only for them, so they could keep track of what they would write.

"this author posts too often, no human writes this fast, so they must use ai" 1.) you don't know how fast someone can or can't write, how much time a person has in a day or how motivated/skilled they are. 2.) the frequent updates you see could be something that has already been finished and sitting in the author's drafts for god knows how long. just because it's recently posted doesn't always mean it's recently written.

my point? no, you can never know if a fanfic is 'ai-generated'. unless the author says they use ai, you're just assuming, suspecting and witch hunting. chances are that you're not going to 'stop ai fics from being created', you're just going to wrongly accuse genuine writers of using ai and ruin their day at best, make them want to quit writing or sharing their works at worst.

begin again
pairing: bruce wayne x fem!reader x clark kent. summary: after two years, you've finally found someone who values you and makes you feel loved. but where you thrive, clark continues to suffer from your absence. it was a coincidence that fate brought you together again, only this time, you had someone else by your side and that someone had no intention of letting you go. word count: 6,3k. tags: hurt/comfort, pining, fluff, finally the reader gets the love she deserves, clark regretting his decisions, bruce is in love, i'm not that deep into the dcu so bruce may be a bit ooc. inaccurate data on everything. happy ending (not for clark). a/n: english is not my first language so there might be grammatical mistakes. first of all, thank you very much for the love the first part received, all your comments made me very happy. i hope you like this part too, writing this i discovered that i may have fallen a little in love with bruce in the process. i hope you do too! tag list: @s-v-e-l-t-e, @bambibbam, @animegamerfox, @cupidai, @eversincehs1, @darksanctuaryseer, @sweetstrawberrianne, @freythecrazyfae, @kneelforloki, @teenwolfbitches28, @cutecur7ygirl read the first part here

Clark Kent had lost his way in life.

It had been two years since he had last seen you. Two years of feeling completely alone.

Clark had come to Earth with one purpose: to protect people. And while he was learning to use his powers, while he was trying to bear the weight of the responsibility he had been given, regardless of the uncertainty and fear, he had an anchor. He had you.

You were his Sun, he needed you to be stronger.

And because of him, he had lost you.

this fic healed me the way @whiteoaksblog’s hurt me. i will just imagine that this is the continuation haha

you are both awesome writers and you are amazing in taking a part of your reader and replacing it with yours. your work will stay with me. ❤️

You're so sweet, thank you so much for your kind words 🥺🫶🏻 it really means a lot.

Reading my own fanfiction is basically just a rollercoaster of emotional whiplash.

20% of the time“Hold on. I wrote this? This is fire. This is emotionally devastating in the best way. This scene is dripping with tension. I’m a literary perfectionist. Someone give me a book deal.”

80% of the time: “Straight to jail. Immediate prison. Why is everyone’s breath hitching?. I used the word ‘gaze’ three times in one paragraph like I was possessed. Did I think 'his eyes darkened' was profound? Why is everyone clenching their jaws? Why is someone whispering 'their name like a prayer' again?? No one talks like this. What is this dialogue. Why are there so many weird metaphors and em-dashes…”

i sit here like a Victorian widow (perfectly normal adult who should be working) crying about my dead husband (ao3) who died in war (gone off to the maintenance lands) waiting for something that will never be back (20 long hours)
