I hope this comes off less, epic tale of sea beasts being slain by pirates and heroes, and more like depressing town on the last dregs of life. Still having a slight amount of light, maybe even above what we can understand as humans, yet somehow so intrinsically human all the same. Hozier is doing so much heavy lifting I salute you sir.

If König lives in another village, what do they say about him? I’m curious of what the village may think about him especially since he is probably seen as more terrifying cause of his height and his mask. Also is your fishing au inspired by the game called Fish Market as reading Soap’s part in the story, it reminds me a lot about the game and how it handles someone being stuck a dead end job with no hopes of getting something better. (If not then I highly recommend you watch it, it’s a very short game but it reminds me so much of Soap in your fishing au)
König’s village is actually a distant island town that doesn’t interact with outsiders a lot. There ARE a lot of caves however. And that’s where König stays for most of his days. People talk about him the way you’d talk about a wild animal, dangerous and unpredictable. I’d argue he actually has it worse, since he doesn’t have a lot he can do to provide for his village, so no one really likes him.
I’ve not heard of that game, but I’ll be sure to check it out sometime! Definitely sounds like Soap I will say LMAO.
Dispatch Characters Redefined: Part 2
Malevola and Sonar
Visual Reworks:
1. Malevola now has tusks! I like how it makes hints towards her demonic side, she also has cuffs, larger muscles and digitigrade legs!
2. Sonar is pretty much the same, but his suit is a little frumpier and he’s a bit skinnier to make the transition between his monster form and his smaller form a bit more dramatic.
Character Reworks:
1. Since we don’t know much about Malevola’s backstory, so I’d like to propose that she has a very nice dad who supports her (because they’re Australian, they have crazier things out there) but she doesn’t bring him up so that he isn’t put in danger. The reason she joins SDN is now because she doesn’t want to disappoint her dad, and also prove she’s more than her appearance. Also she’s doesn’t SA Robert anymore because that scene was so so unnecessary.
2. Sonar now has an inferiority AND a superiority complex :D. Obviously the Harvard grad stuff comes up a lot, but it’s because he wants to prove that he’s more than a freak and dumb bat. And that’s why he and Malevola end up clicking later because of those shared feelings.

Blonde blazer and Invisigal
Visual reworks:
1. Blonde Blazer is largely the same, but now has short hair, and her cape now resembles wings! She looks like an angel!
2. Invisigal is aged down (NOT A ROMANCE OPTION IN THIS VERSION.) to be a teenager. I feel like being a British punk kid fits her rebellious nature.
Character reworks:
1. Relationship between BB and Visi is actually a thing!! They’d have a sort of older sister/little sister dynamic, with BB wanting Visi to be better because maybe she sees a little of her old self in her
2. Visi being aged down to a teen also means her looking for a place to belong and figure herself out is more well defined. Plus manipulation from Shroud would make a little more sense, since she’s young and not sure of herself.
3. Visi’s relationship to Robert as mentor and mentee feels more natural this way in my opinion!
