Pinned
Well, hello there!
Time for a proper pinned post, I guess.
I'm Fёarath (pronounced "fair-rath" — blame elvish), she/her, 27 y.o., ace, and probably undiagnosed neurodivergent. I’m a professional artist specializing in comics, and a non-pro writer with a life long Silmarillion obsession.
My blog still carries my very old nickname, and I won’t change it because I don’t want people to lose track of me.
English is my second language, so my posts may not always read as smoothly as I want them to. But I promise, I'm doing my best.
My favorite silm things are:
- Rational Mairon
- Platonic Silvergifting
- Tyelpe, Finrod, Lúthien
- The Feanorians and eldritch Peredhels
- My long list of Valar’s mistakes
- My main Silmarillion AU (I’ll talk about it more in a second!)
If you vibe with any of this, feel free to message me! I love talking to people but I’m socially awkward potatoe 🥔
Things that are popular but I don’t really like:
- RoP series
- NSFW content
- angbang
- graphic depiction of violence
- heavy angst without happy endings
I understand that people like different things, and I’m totally OK with that! Just don’t expect me to engage with or be enthusiastic about the things I’ve listed here.
A bit about my blog:
It's a bit of a mess, and I’ve never tagged posts properly, but I’m going to try to implement a tagging system starting now. I won’t go back and tag everything (there’s just too much and it would overwhelm me), but here’s what you can expect:
- #fearath_art – My art Upd: I forget it all the time so idk if this was a good idea
- #TEAlegendAU – My main Silmarillion AU where Mairon gets the Ring, goes through a redemption arc, but breaks the Doom in the process and creates a whole mess of problems. This AU also includes concepts like a predatory Void, Estë going incognito with the Noldor, Finrod facing eternal trouble after the Song Duel, Melkor shapeshifting into a bird... and much more. I’ll probably make a dedicated post about it soon-ish, but who knows when :)
This post may (and probably will) be edited.
