Why walk when you can ride?

This is just a dump for me to store my game screenshots and reblog stuff I like.
Cotton Candy Manor

I like pink houses and I cannot lie - a sims 3 shell lot.

I'm sharing this more for safekeeping than anything, but anyway...

Here's a refit of the Wyndley Manor by ruthless_kk, originally uploaded to the exchange. All credits to the 'bones' of this lot goes to them.

Fits best in Moonlight Falls.

Available in .package only.

As requested by @creesims, here is the rest of LivingDeadGirl's School Hallway Set simlish-ified. I even did the "Simex" on the clock and the teeny tiny "Master" on the center of the lock on the locker (all recolors are included even though I only show four lockers). I've included the repositored open locker mesh by @shastakiss (can be found here) for completion sake; many thanks to her!

Files are merged and compressorized and the entire set comes in at under 1MB. This is the whole set including the exit sign I just posted + shasta's mesh, so delete any previous versions you had.

there's been some hostile energy in our little neck of the woods lately and it made me think about all the good things we have in our community.

I wanted to share some of the blogs that inspire and influence my gameplay and posts. mostly ts2 but some super special ts4 simmers too <3

@andrevasims to me, this is the sims 2. it's silly, it's experimental. i really appreciate the aesthetically pleasing effort of it all, too! i love your builds and use them all the time!
@eleysims i love your builds! from interiors to architecture, your posts remind me so much of home- european and rainy. probably helps that we use the same reshade preset LOL
@etherealien i love a blog that makes me question "is this 2 or 4?" there's heavy use of UI templates in the ts4 space thats not as common with 2, i really like how you've implemented it into your pictures in a way that balances out the composition
@folkling THE save files. I mean, it's really revolutionary. it might not seem relevant but when I went to visit some friends in the states all I could think was "wow it really does look like the sims!!" and now every time I see your posts it reminds me of the amazing time I had. that's so special to me. please keep doing what youre doing i adore that i can't recognise the worlds and neighbourhoods!!
@grilledcheese-aspiration i really love your humour and how involved you are with other simmers. Waverley chronicles is so fun and unique, it's so apparent how much you love this game and care for this community, i adore that and you so much!!!
@moonlitfalls every time i see elena and nate I Am SAT! photography wise, no notes. in general, NO NOTES! your posts are genuinely just a good time and so visually pleasing to look at. and I have Definitely Not referenced your lookbooks when dressing my sims...no...never! /sar (p.s. alienkinnie heyyyyyyyy👽🖖)
@polarmoon trixie mattel once said "she is what i think i look like" and that's how i feel when i look at your posts. your pictures capture the new age wave of simblr gameplay blogs. nostalgic and GORGEOUS! i love the attention to detail, the varying composition, the colours! so good
@virtualpeople your posts are just so singularly unique. i LOVE the way your sims look, i love your builds--dude, i've scrapbooked with some of your interiors. your style invokes such a specific feeling in me. I remember when I first followed you and I had to physically stop myself from liking every single post
@yeoldecorprusarium i think about your sims 3 gameplay so often. its so ts3 youtube in its heyday through a romantised wispy yet almost dark filter?? it's so great. 3 isn't really my game but you make me wanna reinstall it constantly even though i know it won't be as whimsical!

we're so spoiled for amazing content in our community i wanted to say hey!! look around!! spread some love!! be kind to one another!!

Barnacle Bay is almost done.

(Save cleaning is not working for me, so idk how the hell I'm supposed to make it playable, but that's a problem for future me).

Raynuss Wood Spiral Stairs re-made

So I absolutely adore these stair meshes by Raynuss. They look awesome, have amazing recolours, and are super versatile. The only problem I had with them, was that these were made before the Sims 2 even had spiral stairs in the game, which meant they used custom scripting from the talented Marvine, who uploaded their first set of spiral stairs in 2007.

This meant they had some quirks, one of the most annoying for me personally being that multiple sims could not use the stairs at the same time, leading to many route failures (even with stair fix mods). When Apartment Life introduced official spiral stairs to the game, they made it so multiple sims could use them at the same time, and I wanted the same for Raynuss's stairs. So, TLDR, I have re-created these stairs so that multiple sims will be able to walk up and down them. They are all fully & correctly animated, using the talented AnoeskaB's mirrored stairs as a template. Most importantly, all existing recolours for these stairs still work 🥳

To use these, just replace Raynuss's original mesh files with mine.
