Dallas
- PTSD, CPTSD, OCD
- A huge cuddle-bug, he loves physical touch
- Has no qualms about splaying himself across everyone on the couch or plopping down on someone's lap
- Darry & Two are his favorite victims of this
- Denies it whenever anyone asks about it
- Scared of dogs, spiders, and needles
- Lets Soda pet the horses whenever he has a race
- Steve gifted him his first ever stuffed animal & he still sleeps with it
- Steals and wears everyone's clothes
- His leather jacket was Tim's, he has multiple of Darry's shirts, & has a Mickey Mouse hoodie from Two-Bit
- Also denies this vehemently
- Dallas, actively wearing Darry's sweater & a pair of Steve's jeans: Man, I aint wearin' y'alls clothes! What are ya talkin' about!?
- His accent gets thicker when he's flustered or embarrassed
- Calls Two-Bit 'Keith' to piss him off
- Can cook & bake very well, but hates doing it
- Only bakes when requested on special occasions (and whenever Johnny asks)
- Makes a mean chocolate cake (the Curtises all cried because it was almost exactly like their Mama’s)
- Fucking loves Ruffles and would marry a bag if he could
- Says "man" excessively when he's nervous
- His OCD habits have more to do with repeated habits
- Can only have a specific amount of cigarettes in a day
- Checks locks excessively & even gets up during the night to check the doors and windows
- Has to pray before meals or whenever he passes a church, even though he doesn't believe in that stuff
- Pony's own OCD helped, since the gang already knew how to handle compulsions
- Stole one of Pony's drawings of him and keeps it in his wallet
- His iconic St. Christopher necklace is from his mom
- Fucking LOVES pissing off Darry, he lives to annoy that man
- he is THE annoying little brother
- He's a biter during fights
- Tim has it the worst, Dallas bites him EVERY TIME they fight
- Steve has it the second worst, he has scars
- The only person he's never bitten is Johnny
- Is always ready to take the fall for one of the guys so they never have to experience prison
Steve
- Autism, ADHD
- Is extremely allergic to most vegetables and fruits
- The first attack he had around the gang was a mess
- Has a very giggly laugh (he hates it)
- Also has a prominent tooth gap, which is why he tries not to smile
- most definitely needs braces
- Is known as an excellent driver, & can win a race with on anything with wheels
- Special interest is cars, & will ramble about them for hours if you don't stop him
- Enjoys cross-dressing & likes feeling pretty
- The only people who know are Evie and Soda
- Has an entire wardrobe of dresses, skirts, etc at Evie’s place
- Amazing singing voice & wanted to try out for theater at school, but he was too scared to
- Has about fifty stuffed animals & cannot sleep without one
- Constantly defending Soda from cat-callers
- Loves pickles, & the whole gang gives him theirs
- Is smart as hell & a straight A student
- Total math whiz & can do complex problems off the top of his head
- Doesn't know how to show affection, so he just buys people things
- Buys basically all Pony's Pepsi as a result
- (Pony has no idea & doesn’t realize his stash never seems to run out)
- Buys groceries for the house a lot behind Darry's back
- Gives the BEST gifts, too
- Is always paying attention and noticing the little things about the gang
- Lets Soda do his makeup sometimes, but is too embarrassed to wear it in public
- Is half-black, half-Mexican
- knows Spanish, but is insecure about speaking it
- Post-canon he speaks it more often
- Has an extreme fear of heights, particularly in relation to amusement park rides
- Mechanic brain of "one bolt isn't screwed right and we all die"
- After Pony's growth spurt, he is the shortest person in the gang, and no one lets him live it down
Darry
- Anxiety, Depression, Autism
- Has been building college funds for Pony & Steve
- He wants his brothers to have all the opportunities he never had
- Hates horror movies with a burning passion and will be gripping somebody's arm during them (usually Dallas or Soda)
- Is the biggest gossip hound, he lives for Pony & Johnny to tell him the newest drama at school
- Giant bully, is always mocking his brothers and making them feel insecure (playfully) (think Rodrick vibes)
- Is also a huge theater fanatic (bonds with Steve over their shared love of it)
- Can play piano very well
- Will sometimes just disappear on the weekends, no one knows where he goes but he’s always back Sunday night
- Uses his height to terrorize the gang like the true older brother he is
- Snatches stuff and holds it above his head
- Puts stuff on the highest shelf
- Is prone to just..moving the gang? Like, he’ll just pick them up and move them
- Does it to his brothers so much they don’t even react
- The first time he did it to Dallas, the blonde was so shocked he didn’t even say anything
- Is constantly flirted with by moms who don't realize how young he is
- Reads the most down bad smut novels, but always removes the covers so no one can tell
- He and Tim get together for coffee sometimes
- Does not understand jokes. Like at all. Two-Bit has to lean over and explain to him every time
- Has nicknames for the entire gang
- Came up with the Two-Bit nickname and was the first to start calling Pony 'Pone' and Dallas 'Dally'
- Calls Steve "gearhead"
- Calls Soda variations of pepsi, coke, and even dr pepper
- The only person he doesn't have a nickname for is Johnny
- Sometimes pretends to fall for rage bait because he likes playfully fighting with his brothers
Johnny
- PTSD, CPTSD, Depression, Anxiety
- Has an intense one-sided rivalry with Tim Shepard
- Yes, it is because of Dallas
- Celebrates every time they stop talking and is pissed every time they get back together
- Is incredibly protective of his friends
- Has psychologically tortured people before for messing with one of them
- Sometimes plays up his "scared pet" act to get the guys to do what he wants
- Lowkey manipulates the gang
- Not in an evil way, but in a..not sane way
- Genuinely worships the ground Dallas walks on, wants to be just like him
- Unconsciously copies his habits, like smoking Kools and saying 'man' excessively
- Actually kind of catches Dally's accent, says certain words in a New York accent
- Can always tell when someone is lying, to the point where the gang doesn't bother trying anymore
- Steve and Two-Bit both help him take care of his curls
- Doesn't shower..
- JK, but he definitely struggles with hygiene and the guys have to help him
- Doesn't actually care about books, just likes being read to
- Ponyboy and Dallas read to him
- Is definitely spoiled by the gang (especially Dally & Steve)
- Is a fiend for anything with caramel or caramel flavored
- Adores horror movies, and actually sometimes comments on things the killers could do better
- Creeps out the gang
- Giggles during murder scenes
- He's definitely sassy, but the person he sasses the most is Dally
- In the same vien, he is the biggest hater you've ever met, but only Pony would know
- johnny: yknow, maybe if Tim wasn't a giant fucking coward, he'd stop investing in new tires every month and start investing in not being a fucking idiot who screws up every chance he gets to not be an asshole
- pony sighs, because no one will ever believe him
- Has disgusting posture, is always hunched in on himself
Two-Bit
- ADHD, Substance-Use disorder, Cyclothymia
- Hates hearing his name, but will always let the gang call him Keith
- Tries not to drink around Steve
- Steve is the Johnny to his Dallas (if that makes sense)
- That's his baby brother
- He will beat you if you're mean to him
- The only real fight he ever had with Darry was over him clocking Steve for the "Superdope" comment
- Has extremely rare moments of philosophical genius, then just goes back to normal??
- Fries the gang whenever it happens
- Is actually pretty okay at school, he just doesn't try or do his work
- Could get Cs or even Bs if he really wanted to
- Explains every one of his jokes in case Darry or Steve didn’t get it
- If he's bored, he brings up an insane conspiracy theory to one of the gang and then defends it with his life
- Mocks Dally's accent to piss him off
- two-bit: ey fuhgeddaboudit daddy-o
- dallas: kills him
- Takes dares VERY seriously, if you dare him to do something you better be ready for him to come through
- Has gotten himself into some very dangerous situations because of it
- Is one of the most protective of the gang
- The type to laugh in your face while squeezing your shoulder so hard it almost pops out of socket or give a really rough handshake
- And no one believes you because “It’s Two-Bit! He’s a lovable idiot!”
- Meanwhile you fear for the day that redhead clown gets you
- Is actually incredibly perceptive and clocks the gang on everything
- two-bit: huh, darry’s been actin’ a bit weird lately, I wonder if it has to do with his intense jealousy issues and his fear that he’ll never be able to experience true childlike freedom again

- Is weirdly one of the most respected in the gang??
- Mainly because he's older, but he also commands a room
- When Two-Bit gets serious, EVERYBODY sitting down and listening
- Sometimes Darry sicks him on the guys when he's tired of it
- Is definitely the one who tells Darry and Steve to lay off Pony when they're going too far
Sodapop
- ADHD, Anxiety
- Loves hearing Steve ramble about cars & will sometimes get him started if he's not in the mood to talk
- Has fought multiple people for being mean to Steve
- Loves makeup, usually just wears some around the house, but will sometimes go out with painted nails
- In the same vein, he’s really into fashion
- Adores Steve’s thing for crossdressing cuz he gets to style him
- Definitely helps Darry and Pony get ready for important events
- Almost drowned in a lake when he was a kid, so now he's really scared of swimming
- Personal space is just a suggestion for him, he WILL be all up in the gang's bubbles 24/7
- Is incredibly caffeine sensitive, and is not allowed near the coffee machine
- Knows everything there is to know about horses
- Can go on and on about them for hours
- Also knows a lot of fun facts about animals in general
- Knows how to tap dance, but no one knows where he learned it
- Randomly breaks in song and dance
- The gang begs him to stop
- His singing voice is atrocious, he sounds like a dying goose
- Steve always joins in and encourages it
- Will eat anything
- Was regularly dared to eat bugs or random trash
- And he just..did.
- Chews bubblegum like crazy, always has like eight packs on him
- Throws everyone giant parties on their birthdays
- Cake, streamers, even customized banners
- Had to do detective work to find out Dally’s birthday (think that one scene from Parks and Rec, Dally is Ron)
- Just absolutely spoils the person who’s birthday it is
- Is so clumsy, always running into things, and he’s always covered in bruises
Ponyboy
- OCD, Anxiety, Depression
- His OCD habits have more to do with organization/cleanliness
- Obsessively washes his hands
- Once used so much hand sanitizer in a week that his hands started bleeding
- Darry immediately banned hand sanitizer in the house
- Struggles with hoarding, because he 'might need it later'
- Actually draws everyone in the gang, but likes drawing Dallas the most and Darry the least
- When he turns about 17, he hits a giant growth spurt and ends up taller than Darry
- For his birthday every year, he always drags the entire gang to see a movie
- they always cause a scene, but that's part of the fun
- Is genuinely the most beloved person in the gang
- That's their baby brother!!
- They always need to know where he’s at
- “Where’s the kid?” - everyone, 24/7
- Is probably the only person in the gang who genuinely believes in God
- He’s an amazing liar, and can come up with a story or excuse in less than a second
- The only person who can tell is Johnny
- Was in a school play once, but swore never again after he got teased for months after
- Is the PICKIEST eater in existence
- Darry has to cut his veggies small and mix them in his food
- Walks very quietly, is always sneaking up on people on accident
- Is the “um, actually☝️🤓” guy of the gang
- He opens his mouth and the whole gang groans
- “Here comes nerdboy! Nerding it up!” - steve, probably
- Is REALLY into miniatures, has little clay minis of all his friends and even builds certain locations around Tulsa
