putting Will Byers in a bar after having an alcoholic abusive father gotta be the top ten worst endings of a show ever

edit: I am NOT demonizing alcohol or bar culture and i am not saying that kids that grow up with alcoholics can't get over their abuse, however, I just find it extremely ooc for will. just my opinion. they dont understand their characters

jane hopper was 16 when she sacrificed her entire life because she believed she couldn’t be free otherwise. the duffers wrote that horrific ending for a scared 16 year old who only ever wanted to be loved, who didn’t want to be a monster.

the writing is so bad that i still feel insanely gaslighted because nothing makes sense to an absurd degree. like to a this-shouldn't-be-possible degree. why was will framed inside the bridge drawing with an x over his heart in what (i thought) was the most obvious bit of foreshadowing ever? and in that game will's description literally states that his mind is the bridge??? and why is there s5 merch everywhere of a "for will x" mixtape that never made a single appearance in the show??? i feel fucking crazy

I laughed so hard when they were doing the mileven montage and then the s4 clips of them showed up and Will is just lurking in the background of both of them. Like you really made their relationship ALL about Will. ALSO not Will having to be the mileven relationship therapist until the very end, Jesus christ.

I’m sorry but all these plot holes in Stranger Things 5 were insane. They said the finale would answer all the questions but not only did it barely answer anything, it just created dozens more

Also RIP to all those pregnant women in the lab who were literally blown up

A great deal of these are legitimate plots holes. Some of them massively gaping plot holes, like how Will was mostly unaffected by the attack on the Mindflayer or how he even went from sensing the hive mind to being able to see what it sees and then taking control of it.

But the scene that Finn and Noah were crying about was apparently the scene on the tower that Noah asked be added to the script.

I lived through the whole "we're still best friends" thing before. I was never moved to tears by it. But that stunt Mike pulled right before with "friends? no thanks" would've wrecked me, if only for a few seconds. Even then, the emotional whiplash would still be brutal. You don't play games like that with a gay friend who has feelings for you (and Mike knowing he's the crush is still impressively vague). It was only done to make Will think Mike was going to abandon him (despite the whole you'll never lose me thing that already happened), and tease the audience into thinking Mike might surprise everyone with something shocking.

The bard, craving knowledge, makes his way to the Mage’s Guild of Enclave, where he spends his days in their vast libraries. Though deeply devoted to his studies, he still makes time for the occasional adventure.
