Papercraft commission of Mirabel from Encanto and Meloli from the manga PPPPPP - two musical characters crossing universes to have a joyful jam session together! I had a blast going through all my papers to find good music-themed patterns that I could use in this piece. The gold-patterned one in Mirabel's accordion might be my favorite! 🎶

Chibi commission of the client's characters Gabriel, Gloss, and Marie, in a sweet little family scene! Gabe (ex-adventurer, current tailor) is in the process of making a dress for Gloss, Gloss is delighted to be getting both attention and fantastic fashion, and Marie is being an extremely helpful baby. An absolutely adorable request! :D

Papercraft commission for the client's girlfriend's characters Ao Xiao and Carrot Cake! I had such fun with this piece, since these soul-bonded mage-and-dragon bffs are the absolute sweetest, which made for a cheerful, soothing atmosphere. Plus, they've got beautiful character designs! Just a delight from start to finish. :D

One last art post to round off 2025, with one of my favorite pieces I drew this year! This artwork was drawn for Two Girl Revolution, an RGU zine focused on Utena and Anthy's relationship! All the contributors' art and writing were so lovely and the zine came out absolutely gorgeous; I'm so happy I got to participate. ^_^

I thought of this as being sort of an illustration of Anthy inside the coffin throughout the series - her childhood self surrounded and almost smothered by the Rose Bride gown, the swords keeping her trapped in place, her expression blank and bitterly exhausted but her hand still holding the sword of Utena's heart. And of course, Utena herself reaching for her in a flash of light!

Assorted papercraft Hakus from my holiday sale! I love lining up the different versions of a papercraft like this and seeing how all the patterns look when placed next to each other. ^_^ Which version is your favorite, lovelies?

Spirited Away has been one of my favorite movies since childhood, and Haku was always the character I liked best. He's cool! He's mysterious! He's a dragon!!! No wonder kid-me was absolutely charmed from the moment he appeared!

Listened to "The Water Is Fine" by Chloe Ament about fifty times in a row and drew Carmille and Merisel being sweet sleepy (but-surrounded-by-an-unsettling-hungry-void) girlfriends!

Papercraft Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling, from my holiday sale! I love these two, and love making art of them, and thus had been wanting to make another version of this piece for a while. By the time I started working on it, I'd already long decided what papers to use - except for Jiang Cheng's outer robe! There were just too many beautiful purple papers to choose from, and every option would look good! >_< But I really like the pattern I went with in the end. I feel like the marbled effect evokes both lightning and water - very fitting for JC!

Mini Yugioh papercraft! I've been wanting to make Yugioh minis for yeeears (and had picked out patterns for them for nearly as long), and I was so pleased to finally finish some sets. The show of my heart!!

I was able to catch the theater release of Angel's Egg a few weeks ago, after wanting to watch it for years and years. An absolutely stunning film.

Papercraft Anthy! I love her so much~

I'm constantly on the lookout for rose-patterned papers suitable for making RGU papercraft - yet I somehow have trouble finding ones I think will work well. However, this papercraft features two of my favorites that I've found thus far! Success! Yet I'll always keep making RGU art, so the search continues ever on. 🌹

This piece was part of my holiday sale! It has now gone to a good home, but there's still plenty of other art available for perusal.
