I love Gecko Moria so much he's such a boyfaliure literally nothing ever goes right for this man he's always getting his shit kicked in in the most humiliating of ways. Even in a meta sense the arc where he's he main villain is considered to be the worst in the series by a lot of the fanbase, and other than Wevil he has to be the least popular warlord. Mihawk is considered to be Perona's dad in a lot of fanon because he let her crash on his couch while Moria literally raised her from childhood. I feel so bad for him being the universe's inflatable punching bag but at the same time I love seing him get smacked around.
