He looks up from his phone, meeting her eyes before giving his usual smile.

“Hey, Maggie!” He says stuffing his pocket in his pocket and holding out his right hand to shake. He doesn’t want to be considered impolite. Especially in this school. He’s still the resident ‘poster child’ for Zombie kind after all.

“And yeah, i’m Zed.” he says with a soft chuckle. His other hand rests on his waist as he curiously awaits what Maggie is up to. And why he’s never met her before. He can’t help his curiosity after all. But he doesn’t want to be rude either.

Addison was referring to those weird Shocks that mess with the Z-bands and The moonstone necklace. She sat by the fire with him.

Concern etched onto her face as she turned to look at him, atleast the other campers were asleep, she didn't want to worry anyone until they can work out what's happening.

The past few hours have been . . . painful, to say the least. He’s felt like pure shit since being shocked the first time. He’d like to think he handled it well the first time, considering he was driving. He’ll never get over how he put his friends in danger, even though it wasn’t his fault.

He looks up from his spaced out gaze, looking over at Addison. The pretty face seems to bring some comfort to him. If not visibly, than deep in his undead soul. He wonders if she really knows how much she means to him. How much her concern warms his heart.

“I’m alright,” He says with a nervous smile. Does he really need to tell her how worried about it all he is? Probably . . . but that doesn’t stop him from “half lying” all the same.
