so new merch dropped today and
a few thoughts
- look at takumi the Eepy. there's maybe 0.5 of a brain cell awake at that hour
- love eit polishing the glasses that he doesn't in fact need
- glad to see takemaru finally get some merch! hell yeah man!
- darumi and kyoshika with their hair down is v cute. that said
- this is like. maybe the most beautiful yugamu i've seen? like both the hair angle and how he does look really cute without his makeup...like i know he likes being offputting but 10% less offputting and he's so lovely <3

feels crazy looking back on how short fgo part 1 and 1.5 were in hindsight. they banged out all of observer on time temple in one and a half years. epic of remnant was just one other year. ordeal call alone was as long as those two combined
- august 2015 - fgo launches, containing up to septem. they fuck around for a few months before releasing okeanos in november
- december 2015 - london release. solomon first shows up here
- december 2016 - solomon chapter release, ending observer on time temple after 1.5 years
- february 2017 - shinjuku release, starting epic of remnant
- november 2017 - salem release, ending epic of remnant in slightly under 1 year
- december 2017 - lostbelt prologue release where they kill da vinci and destroy the chaldea arctic base
- april 2018 - anastasia chapter release, properly starting the lostbelt arc
- december 2019 - atlantis chapter release
- april 2020 - olympus release, named as the halfway point of lostbelt arc 2 years after the first lostbelt release. main chapter releases slow down considerably
- december 2020 - heian kyo release
- december 2021 - tunguska sanctuary release after they spread lb6 out over all of summer and autumn
- december 2022 - mictlan release, technically wrapping up the lostbelts 5 years after the prologue
- june 2023 - ordeal call release campaign, finally kicking off the last stretch of fgo, which formally still falls under cosmos in the lostbelt
- december 2025 - fgo finale release, ending ordeal call after 2.5 years counting from its own release campaign, closing cosmos in the lostbelt 8 years after its prologue chapter release, and finishing fgo's story as a whole after 10.5 years
#part of this definitely comes down to them realizing 'hey we can do Events!'#because with part 1 and 1.5 theres like less than 5 story critical events for the plot#whereas with part 2 theres a whole ton of story critical events that can be interspersed between chapter releases#which ofc just makes the fact theres no dedicated event compendium all the worse
