(it was specifically this suit-up. yes this was the first mcu movie with iron man that i watched)

it's much harder to pinpoint the first moment i fell in love with comics tony since i was already coasting off love for the character from the mcu, but this was a moment that really cemented the character in my brain (iron man v4 #12)

There’s a lot of scenes in this film that show his self-sacrificing tendencies, but this scene in particular stood out to me. He’s doing everything he can to fight the good fight even though he hated it, but the minute Bucky was in trouble he ran face-first towards it.

In the comics, it’s a different story of how he got his identity, but I do love his need to protect all people regardless of race or creed.

My very first impression of Loki, loved him for like a week as a child and later when the Loki series came out I fell into the rabbithole and have been obsessed ever since, going on 1502 days. I was watching Marvel occasionally but had no favorite until Loki series made me rewatch everything Loki was in and later comics

This is probably maybe if I remember the first comic page in Loki: God who fell on Earth which was the first xomix I got as a Christmas present and his lucky number being seven was something that connected us so yeah :)

To be honest, I live in a pretty boring place… It's just very regular, probably a lot like where most everyone reading this will live. Not very glamorous, nothing too cool or photogenic very close..

I love photography though, and I love taking photographs. I try to do it all the time, so that I can continue to improve, because God knows that I need it lol.

Here are a selection of some pictures taken literally just walking around my neighborhood. It will probably look very much like everyone else's; especially if anyone else here is from New England, lol.

I try to elevate the things around me by practicing good composition and photographic techniques, and by trying to see beyond what is obvious, and to see everything with new and fresh eyes. I hope that those of you reading or viewing will enjoy my neighborhood, and my pictures of it :)

There is no soft lighting for a tent collapsing under winter rain, and no filter for a child shivering at 3 a.m. because the cold has crept into their bones.

Tumblr loves stories, so here is mine without a happy ending, without metaphors that make it easier to scroll past. We survived the bombing, and now we are negotiating with winter. Every night carries a silent question: Will we wake up warm enough to keep going?

You don’t have to save the world, and you don’t even have to feel hopeful. Just don’t pretend this is far away. Somewhere, at this very moment, someone is reading this from inside a tent that was never meant to be a home.

I'm writing these words with a heavy heart and a sense of shame…

It's not easy for a doctor and pharmacist who has dedicated their life to serving people to reach out and ask for help, but circumstances are harsher than any pride.

My pharmacy was completely destroyed by the war,

and my home wasn't spared either… and I no longer have any source of income to support myself and my family.

I was forced to reopen a simple pharmacy, a tent,

offering no protection from the winter cold or the rain,

and with the recent storms, the tent itself was ruined,

and I continue to work in unbearable conditions,

but only because I don't know how to stop or give up.

The situation is extremely difficult… and the need is dire,

and the hardest thing is the feeling of abandonment,

when you feel alone,

and that many of the people you stood by didn't stand by you in this time.

I'm not asking for luxury,

nor anything more than what's necessary.

I'm asking for a life of dignity and a chance to get back on my feet.

Whoever can help, even a little,

may God reward them on behalf of me and my family.
