The independent WCAX Channel 3 Newsroom is made up of more than 40 journalists whose primary goal is the responsible, factual, accurate reporting of news of the day and stories of importance to our community of service in Vermont, New York and New Hampshire. In a deadline-oriented environment, there may not always be a person available to answer incoming phone calls, so email correspondence is preferred. Sports Director Jack Fitzsimmons and Sports Anchor Michael Dugan lead the WCAX Channel 3 Sports team to cover our local teams like no one else. The sports calendar is varied, and just like our news team, we go to the game to get the video, which means the sports crew is often on the move and unavailable. School Closings and Delays:

WCAX operates the school closings and delays system on behalf of the Vermont Association of Broadcasters at no cost to the broadcast members or the public. All closings data is submitted through the WCAX system and distributed to member television and radio stations across the state of Vermont and beyond. If you have questions or need assistance with a closing, please use the email address and someone on our closings team will address it as soon as possible.
