The Tangled Wood is seen as a bit of a deathtrap for most everyone except the native members of the Shadow Flight. Some say that once you go into the depths of the Tangled Wood, you come out different -- if you come out at all. There are countless dead ends and the constant state of fog-shrouded twilight makes navigating difficult.
