The Windforge, a howling furnace with a mysterious core, marks the seat of power for the territory's defacto leader. The questionably-responsible spiral Vhyx, with her imperial advisors and consorts, has held these scattered groups together through some combination of wit, charisma, cunning, and sheer dumb luck.
