I'm working on developing backstories for all my dragons. I've chosen to name them after flowers, which I researched to make sure they had appropriate meanings. I'm finding this to be a rewarding experience, and I would appreciate any tips or suggestions you might have.

sure! don't worry about the forum games thing, im usually active on forum games and i just don't want other user to use them if it's a "choose your favorite dragon from the user above thing" but you can do whatever you want with them since they're yours now! :]
