Biography
The Blacksmith
Lionel met Lace in a market of sorts. He noticed Lace flying high up reaching for one of the items on the tall shelves. He watched him retrieve a large tome and immediately start plummeting to the ground under its weight. Lionel moved a bit to catch him and effectively save him from being squished. Lace showed no signs of fluster or embarrassment, but did provide a few monotonous, yet somehow sincere, words of appreciation before leaving without a response.
Lace managed to get the book to the merchant to pay for it. Lionel unconsciously continued to watch him, wondering how he planned to lug the book out of here when it's almost the size of him. But after Lace completed his purchase, Lionel watched him knock on the book which then shrunk down to a tenth of its original size. He added the minibook to his similarly minipouch and go on his way.
However, Lace neglected to close his pouch after depositing the book, and dropped what seemed to be some minirunes on the ground. He continued exiting, completely unaware of his lost goods. The merchant only stared at Lace somewhat bewildered that he didn't notice, so Lionel went to pick them up himself. Turning towards the direction Lace exited, Lionel caught a couple hooded figures follow him, which he was oblivious to. Fae's were easy targets in a such a market due to the lack of imbued magic in the heavily worked land. Lionel was tired and it hadn't been 10 minutes before he first set eyes upon the Fae.
Lionel had almost lost Lace while eyeing the other group of stalkers, but much to his dismay when he caught site of him again he was turning down an alleyway. A dark one, quite a bit ahead of where Lionel was, though the other followers took seemingly no time to reach it. Before he knew it, Lionel had began practically shoving people out of the way to get to the alley.
However, turning the dark corner he came to a sudden stop in front of a pile of bodies consisting of what seemed to be the remnants of Lace's pursuers. Further down the way there was Lace walking away with someone else beside him. He caught up with them to return the runes and has been watching him ever since.

- Kesaura was the one with Lace that day and almost attacked Lionel when he approached, thinking he was another stalker.
- I have no idea how Kesaura and Lionel ended up falling in love and neither do they probably. However Lionel was the one to confess and generally perform any acts of affection.
- Lionel was in the market that day looking for materials to craft armor for himself as he had been frequently ambushed on his journey beforehand.
