Berkana, originally named Zeta, began life as a fierce Nocturne dragon. Born to two great Nocturnes, Zeta enjoyed a thrilling life as a nocturnal huntress, stalking impressive prey in the dead of night and bringing home her mighty kills to feed her family and the other members of their lair. Life continued on this way only shortly into her adulthood as her father soon ascended, becoming an exalted dragon for the plague flight. While her mother and the rest of her companions seemed proud, Zeta felt his absence was a loss, and became quite bitter over his depature. She found comfort from a traveling Imperial, a dragon named Flareblade, and the two hit it off, becoming closer through shared conversations and experiences. Eventually, their meetings would lead to them falling in love, and their union would pave the way for her to fall prey to the same visions and omens that haunted her new love. Like Flareblade, the images would soon twist Zeta into a new dragon.

Alpha Rune of Lair Nidyn

Berkana, having left her old lair to join Ansuz in a new one under the leadership of Nidus and Saryn, the female Spiral aids her mate in his vision state, receiving just as many as him, and passes the messages on to their king and queen. She's very similar in temperament to her mate, though tends to smile more often, an eerie sort of positivity trickling into her growl. Other dragons should be wary, though, as her friendliness is most often a front, and an attempt to get others' guards down. For what reasons is unknown, though it's reasonable to suspect that her predatory actions derive both from her past life as a huntress and the visions and voices that reside within her skull.
