 TARASIOS 'PANZER' IGNATYEV PALADIN EX PALADIN CAPTAIN «- - - - - - - - - - - - - ❖ - - - - - - - - - - - - -» It was a scant few years ago that the Grand Master of the Templars of Hythveard were forced to send away one of the strongest rising stars: a man known only as Panzer. He was a champion of the people, the leader of a local chapter which focused on protecting civilians from the roving Shade infected monsters which spill out from the deeper parts of the Icefields. He was incredible at his job, an honest, friendly, and humble man of simple means. What was unfortunate was that his decision making was subpar- but his popularity kept him in that leadership position despite making mistakes. Most of these mistakes were caught by those beneath him and properly subverted. But there was one that no one caught in time. He sent their finest group to deliver relief to a remote town, cut off from everything else by an avalanche. Halfway back Panzer received a report that there would be another, blocking off their return. He takes the chance to send another team after them to meet them and speed them up, allowing them to save both the town and his paladins. He saved neither. Disgraced, Panzer was sent away. Ever loyal to his service, as much as he wanted to slink away and die, he travelled across the sea to help a revenant of the Icewarden. Under Rho's command, Panzer is a lot more effective. Pointed in the right direction he's an engine of destruction, a mighty warrior of perfect virtue. Underneath that though and he's a surprisingly shy and demure man who has deprived himself of any 'sinful' or 'impure' hobbies, which has relegated almost his entire being to one dedicated to others. It means that he's still taking the first steps to finding himself outside of his persona as a knight in shining armour- a journey he's very afraid about taking.
