Witch Doctor

The clan’s first herbalist and witch doctor. Started growing helpful herbs and fungi since the clan was first founded, long before they had their own farms. Many younger dragons look up to her and try to emulate her, mixing their natural magic with whatever “herbs” they may find. Oftentimes they’re nothing more than twigs, burnt by their lightning, but Aerinite appreciates their attempts nonetheless. Over the years, she’s amassed a collection of gifts crafted personally for her by the hatchlings she’s inspired. She’s rather social for a Bogsneak, most often with younger dragons and hatchlings; Aerinite believes it’s best for a dragon to learn basic herbalism at a young age. Each hatchling that leaves her den always carries out a Forest Field Guide and a small satchel. Aerinite has tasked these youngsters with locating, identifying, and collecting each item in the guide, preparing their minds for surviving off of the fruits of the land. You never know when you’ll be stuck on your own, with only the wilderness to forage from.

Aerinite’s Toridae companion Tori is especially friendly with children. Aerinite raised Tori from a sprout, so she’s always been acclimated to dragons. Tori’s venom can be easily extracted from her tail, and Aerinite has used it for many types of antidotes; even for toxins produced by other means. Because of this, she’s more likely to be approached by dragons needing antidotes than Antix, who dragons often see for other means of healing. Aerinite taught Antix all he knows about herbs, and he’s furthered his pursuit of healing by learning healing spells as well.
