Osiris is the Egyptian god of the afterlife, the underworld and rebirth. He used to be the beneficent king of the world of the living, after receiving the throne of Re. Osiris is a loving father when it comes to his younger son, Horus, but a rigorous king when it comes to his illegitimate son Anubis.

Osiris was married with his sister, Isis, who was a very selfconfident and strong women, manipulating her husband whenever it was possible. Seth, Osiris' brother, was jealous of his brother because he was the king of the world of the living and besides of that his own sister and wife, Nephthys, fell in love with Osiris, conceiving his son Anubis. With a trick Osiris was killed by his own brother, Seth. After being murdered by him, Seth cut Osiris' body into pieces and scattered them across Egypt. Osiris' wife, Isis, together with Anubis, restored Osiris' body and Isis conceives his son, Horus. Directly after siring his son, Osiris died and become king of the underworld, Duat. He now is the judge of the souls, watching over the "weighing of the heart", deciding who is worth to enter the paradise, Sechet-iaru.
Even though Osiris is a powerful and intelligent god, his wife Isis is manipulating her husband. Together they're blackmailing a lot of gods to protect Horus from being killed and to keep him down. Horus as well, now sitting on the throne of his father in the world of the living, is catched in a gilded cage, unable to reign at his own will, always under the control of Isis, not knowing what dark secrets his parents are trying to hide from him...
