Biography
Star - 3rd Place Winner of the Christmas Raffle 2025

The Snapper Star didn’t have to look,
For she already had a book,
With many carols for everyone,
So she thought she would be quickly done.
She searched for the book everywhere,
But it was always never there!
She turned every stone in sight,
She went to the Ancient Digsite,
She even asked Crim if she’d seen it,
‘I’d like to have it’, she’d admit.
Pinkerton did not know where,
Thought it might be in his big pile there,
But said he thought he would still know,
And after looking, he said ‘no’.
Fiona, the familiar friend,
Said she had a book she could lend,
But it was simply not the same -
The carols in there were quite tame.
Star was slowly getting nervous,
For she had promised to do this service!
But hope did not leave her just yet,
For she knew that she should not fret.
One more place she thought she could view,
To ask Tomo if she maybe knew.
On her way there, a sound occured,
It was a song, she was assured!
There, it was Scribbles who tried to sing,
By holding the lost book with their wing!
Star told Tomo it belonged,
To her herself, and that she longed,
For this book, having searched for it,
So Scribbles would but then admit,
They really did like these songs, too,
But knew it was Star the book belonged to.
They gave it back and were invited,
To join the fesitivites, united.
Star then hurried back to Yuletide,
But on her way she did decide,
To start singing already now,
Which made nearby dragons say: ‘Wow!‘
Her carols drifted, soft and slow,
And even snowflakes hushed their glow.
The villagers felt fears depart,
As music thawed the coldest heart.
Then, back, when she had just arrived,
They sang together and they thrived.
‘But isn’t something missing here?‘,
They asked – but one more was very near.
