Nahidia is a calm and thoughtful dragon, always seeming to deeply ponder her surroundings whilst also being off in her own world. Despite her quiet nature, the relaxed aura she exudes means that she has many admirers in the clan.↠ any pronouns

_____Nahidia's favourite place is the clan's smallest shrine. It is nestled amongst twisted trees that are far older than the shrine itself, settled on a tiny island amidst a grand lake. Her job is to tend to the lake's buildings; the Library, tea room, and shrines of the Peak. However those dragons that come and go from the Lake each day also appreciate its tranquility, and all seek to leave the area as they found it. Nahidia seeks out Aurqilea when a building is deteriorating, or Quilin when she discovers some fading paintwork. Each time they seem surprised to see her, as though they are thinking 'um, who are you again?'. Nahidia doesn't mind at all. She enjoys the peace and quiet.
Relationships
| Alatariel discovered Nahidia as a day-old hatchling whilst picking up medicine ingredients in the Scarred Wasteland. Seeing her distress, they took her back to the clan, before palming her off to the hatchling caretakers. She still remembers and appreciates Ala taking pity on her then. |
| Andreth is Nahidia's closest friend, and the pair live together on the Great Lake. Nahidia also acts of something of a carer at times, helping Andreth navigate tasks that she can't as a blind dragon. |
| Aurqilea helped Nahidia find her role in the clan. He discovered her meticulously cleaning and attempting to repair a run-down shrine that he had been meaning to renovate, and asked if she would like to be a caretaker to it. She was very eager (or as eager as she can be). |
History

Nahidia's first memory is of a dank and lonely chamber in the Scarred Wastleland. Moisture dripped from stalictites in the roof, streaming down the walls and pooling on the floor, making everything gleam in the faint light. The stale air was cold, though the shards of her egg crumbled about her were no warmer. Nahidia stumbled through dark tunnels, hearing sounds echoing but being unable to place their direction. She came to a crossroads; from one tunnel was the scent of rot, and muttering, as though a hundred dragons were whispering at once. The other carried a little warmth, and perhaps just a slight respite from the sulphurous scent that seemed to leak from the cave walls. A warm breeze. She followed it. _____Nahidia found her way above ground. Here it was warmer, the sun blazing high in the sky, obscured by somehow sickly-looking clouds. There were dragons here too; fast, loud, agitated, their faces hazy. They scared her. _____She found herself fleeing, imagining she was being pursued, though no one actually noticed the tiny hatchling. In her terror she strayed into the path of an enormous cream Imperial who nearly jumped out of their scales at her pitiful cry. _____"Ah! Oh, aren't you small? I didn't step on you, did I?" The Imperial peered down at her, from a long way up. Their orange eyes widened when they realised just how young she was. "You didn't happen to scamper off from your nest, did you, young one?" _____She just stared up at them, brown eyes wide in fright. _____"Oh? You're not born of a Plague nest? But you can't be more than a day old! How are you so far from home?" When Nahidia didn't answer, the Imperial sighed. "It can't be helped then, I suppose. Come with me, I will make sure you find somewhere safe." _____They extended a clawed hand to the ground, their jewellery tinkling softly as they did so. "Do not be scared, young one. You have nothing to fear from me." _____So, for lack of better option, Nahidia tipped into their hand before being whisked away to her new home. Need to add: 2. growing up (ie, Alatariel palming her off to caretakers, making friends, naming herself) 3. finding clan role (discovering shrines in disrepair, finding at peace with who she is, feels at home in the quiet) 4. meeting Andreth <3 | ___ |
