» Willow wandered throughout the territories, ever on the move since she was young. She had a fascination with magic and an inherited desire to expand her knowledge like her parents before her. Since the mass exaltation of 15 million souls by her mother, Naomi the Gatekeeper, wrought upon the land of Sornieth, many dragons have harbored a hatred for the family. (Or at least, what remains of the family.) Willow has attempted to keep a low profile to avoid both her mother and those looking to get revenge or use her as a way to get to The Gatekeeper.

» Unfortunately, she would be captured and sold to a powerful cultist in the Wastelands, Ricar. She would spend many years trapped under this mirror's possessive grasp. He deemed to control her, altering her to appear as a Plague dragon as Arcane dragons were forbidden from the clan. She was kept to both help Ricar attempt to learn her mother's secrets and reverse the cursed deal he had made with Plaguebringer to become immortal. For every sermon he did he would infect those with a mandatory "blessing" of eternal life, which would, in turn, grant him an extended lifespan that grew longer with every dragon he cursed. However, immortality does not mean invincible. Should Ricar die, so will his followers. To avoid facing an agonizing death, he forced Willow to try and reduce the curse's effect on him.

» For years, Willow would live imprisoned by Ricar and his followers. She clung to whatever joys she could find, learning from scrolls of forbidden knowledge, and caring for her newborns in secret, only to send them out to escape when they were big enough before Ricar could infect them with his despicable curse. She would be emotionally manipulated, and guilted into helping strangers. She would be threatened, gaslit, and made to live a miserable life until one day, she finally had enough.

» Taking Ricar's Clan's secrets, she fled the Wasteland. She would spend days running through the Tangled Woods, only to flee to Dragonhome to lose the hunting pack that was out to drag her back to the cult.
In the Earth Realm, she would meet a small band of dragons who would give her shelter and a place to stay while she would decide where to go now that she was on the precipice of freedom...
