Agate was hatched with a taste for adventure. She was a treasure hunter (and in fact still goes on digging expeditions occasionally) searching for a legendary treasure. On one of her exploration attempts, she spied a bright green gem which she thought may have been the treasure she sought, but upon approaching it, discovered a very different, much more important treasure - her would-be mate, Marimo.

She is very energetic and crafty, with a bit hotter blood than many of her Clanmates, so she sometimes gets into arguments. However, nothing serious usually comes of it, and she will often give them a small gift as an apology, like a particularly nice plant or stone.
